Suspicions

Newts POV
I sit at the table, jolting my leg up and down anxiously.. y/n has been gone for quite a while and I'm starting to worry. "They're not going to hurt her, she'll be here soon" Thomas whispers as he puts a hand on my shaking leg, trying to stop it. I decide to eat a little while waiting for y/n to come back.

I watch her trudge through the doors and make her way next to me, immediately clinging to my arm. "Hey.. are you ok love? Did they hurt you" my voice filled with worry, she shook her head no and buried herself into my chest. Something seemed off, the joy that once shone in her eyes had disappeared, and the smile that once lit up the room became a frown. I suppose I can't expect her to be happy after what we have just been through.

I begin tucking in properly, easing down now that she was ok and safe right next to me. I make up a plate and push it towards her, she lifts up her head and looks at me "I'm not that hungry" she spoke and leaned back into me. I knew she was lying, she hadn't eaten in over a day. "Please love, eat something.. if not for yourself then for me" I rubbed her back in a circle motion, waiting for her to listen.
"Only for you" she sighs and I flash her a smile, pushing the plate towards her watching as she digs in.

I look over at the others, they were engaging in a conversation with some people that were in another maze from us "that boy has been here the longest.. almost over a week" I watch them point at a boy huddled in a corner by himself not eating and his head down low. "Heard his maze was full of girls, lucky bastard" another one spoke up. I shake my head and look back at y/n who had already finished her plate. "I'm proud of you darling" I say and place my hand in hers, rubbing her thumb with mine.

It wasn't long before janson came through the doors. My attention turns to him, my eyes scanning the small piece of paper in his hands.
"Alright everybody you know the drill, when I call out your name you'll come to the front" he smiles at us all. "Nick, Julia, samantha, Florence, William, George, Anna and Charlotte", everyone around me sighed and the mood instantly dropped. "Now don't worry, you'll all get to go, we just can't have an overload" he smiles again before walking out. Y/n still had her head buried in my chest, something was definitely wrong.

Tommy rose to his feet and I grab his arm "where you going mate?" He shrugs me off and keeps walking, I ignore his antics until he starts arguing with a guard. I see it about to go down and rush to my feet heading towards them, I hold Tommy back along with the rest of our friends helping "WHY WONT YOU LET ME SEE HER" he yells.

Of course in that moment janson comes out "woah woah, Thomas I thought we had an understanding here, you'll see Teresa soon enough I promise, take them back to their rooms" he ordered the guards after finishing his words with Tommy.

The room we were giving had 6 beds, three bunks in total, they let y/n into our room considering she had no where else to go and I refused to step into the room without her. She lays on the bottom bunk, completely ignoring me and tucking herself in, she must be tired.

Tommy kept going on about how something was off, something wasn't right he would tell us. It made me angry, we were finally safe.. why was he trying to fuck it up for us all. "We were given clean clothes, a nice shower!, some of us haven't had that in a long time.. some of us a lot longer than others" i furrow my eyebrows at him showing I was serious.

He sighs "I have to find out newt.. what's really going on" I knew I couldn't reason with him. In that moment the vent bursts open and that same boy from earlier crawls through "hey Thomas you ready" he asks. "Coming aris" he replies before turning back to me "I need to know newt.. stay guard" he says and moves his gaze over to y/n who looked like she was sleeping peacefully. Thomas left and we all went to bed waiting for him to come back, I stayed guard sitting in the chair.

I gave up in exhaustion and just slid into bed next to y/n. I pull her hair back away from her neck and start kissing her jaw downwards, she rolls over facing me, looking in my eyes. "I love you yk? You're so beautiful it amazes me" I stare into her eyes. She laughs at me and pulls me close, kissing me deeply with passion. I roll over so I'm on top of her, her breathing gets heavier and I know she's getting turned on.

"We don't have too if you don't want too" I say, I don't want to make her uncomfortable. "I want you.. I want you right now" her breathing uneven and choking back on her words. I smile at her and lean back down to continue the kiss. She lifts my top over my head and her hands explore every inch of my body, my hands go down to her thighs, grabbing them and lifting her legs up. She lets out a low moan and bites her lip. She fumbles around with my joggers, trying to untie them while I take off hers.

We manage to get our clothes off and we stop for a brief moment. Our skin touching .. I lean down so my head is by hers, my breathing now becomes unsteady as I know what's going to happen. I line up with her entrance and slowly push myself in. She moans quite loudly and digs her nails into my back.. "if you need to stop at any point, just say and I'll stop" I whisper trying to keep quiet and not wake the others. I fasten my pace listening to her moan my name really turns me on. "I- I love you newt..fuck" she groans, making me get even harder. I place my hand over her mouth to muffle her moans, the bed started to shake a little and I feel my climax rushing over me. Her body starts twitching and I know she's close I don't stop anything and continue the way I'm going, she likes that as her legs twitch.

"I'm.. close" I manage to say, heavy breathing after each word. She nods her head to let me know that it's the same for her, I feel myself getting sloppy and I finish, giving one last push as my body gets weak. I roll back over laying next to her, I clean myself and her up and get dressed. "I love you so much" she sighs. "I love you more love" I say turning to her. She lays her head on my chest and drifts to sleep, I decide to do the same, closing my eyes.

Our life was finally beginning.
