'His greenie' | Newt x reader

Shes awake.

Y/n POV
It's been a few days since the new greenie arrived, she's still with the medjacks, unfortunately she hasn't woken up and that's caused Tommy to overthink.

"When she wakes up you let me know!" I watch Tommy storm out of the medjack hut with his head in his hands. "Hey calm down tom what's going on?" I manage to catch up with him. "I need her to wake up y/n" I look at him , I was worried about him I hate to see the way this has effected him. "I know.. but when she wakes up they'll let us know, you need to wait" I rubbed his back reassuringly before heading over to the hut myself.

"Hey y/n what can I do for you?" Jeff shuffles around the room rummaging in several cupboards. "Just came to see how she's doing" my eyes following him around. "yeah she's umm great, can you stay watch for a second? I've seemed to misplace something I need to go find" I nod my head and watch him jog out of the hut.

The girl was laid out on the bed, her brown hair neatly sprawled out next to her, she seemed peaceful.

"Please tell me you're not as frantic as Tommy"
I turn around to see newt leaning on the door frame of the hut. I laugh before walking over to him. I wrap my arms round his neck, feeling his hands snake around my waist. "Let's just say I'm the patient one out of us both" I chuckle. "Oh yeah you seem very patient" he winks at me before spinning me around shutting the door behind him. Butterflies begin to swarm around my stomach, there's no way that we would get interrupted here..

I move my hands to his neck pulling him closer to me until we were inches apart. "In fact I'm very patient" I smile at him. His lips crash onto mine, the kiss was passionate, my hands move up his neck reaching his hair, tangling themselves in it, his hands pulling my waist closer to him, gripping onto me.

He pulls apart, "wow.. umm I should go see if Tommy's ok" he blushes. "Ok yeah.. I'll see you later" I stand still as he places a quick kiss on my lips before leaving the hut.

"I see why you like him" I spin my head around to the girl who was now sitting up in her bed "British accent, blonde hair, he's kinda cute" I walk over to her, embarrassed about how much she might've seen "I.. should go tell the others your awake" I stutter before turning around to leave.

"Wait" she grabs my arm pulling me back. "Is Tommy around" it really bugged me that she called him Tommy, he's my brother. "What don't you remember me" she laughs before starting to study my face. "Oh my god.. you don't do you, they really erased all your memories" I yanked my arm out of her grip "I only remember me and 'Tommy'" I mock.

"Maybe he'll remember me.. I'm not the bad person here y/n, I'm here to help, they sent me to help" her words linger in my mind the word 'they' standing out the most, whos they? And why don't I remember her.

Everyone was now gathered around this girl I had run out the hut to tell everyone, Tommy was the first one to run inside.

"Do you remember your name" Thomas was now interrogating her asking her questions she seemed to almost always have the answer too. "It's Teresa" why did her name ring a bell.. last time this happened I was out for a week, I'm not having that happen again.

"Who are you.." I thought.

"It surprises me you don't remember y/n we used to be very close"

I shot my head up meeting her eyes, she had a smile on her face before she proceeded to look down to Tommy. How did she do that? How did she speak to me.. how did I speak to her? I thought only Tommy could do that.

Thomas lifts his head and looks at me shooting me a nod before getting on his feet.
I nudge newt who was standing next to me. "She saw us by the way" he glances my way giving me the 'what are you on about look'

"She saw us you know.." I nudge him again and watch his face in drop in realisation to what I was on about, he lowers his head in embarrassment making me laugh, it caught the attention of a few other gladers.

"Sorry" I mumble , also lowering my head.

"Can everyone please leave, she needs to speak to me and y/n" everyone listens to Thomas and start heading out the door.

"I'll tell you I promise" I shoot newt a smile before kissing him on the cheek and watching him leave.

"So, how do you know us" I stammer, waiting for her to reply.

"The same way you know me.. the creators"
