He wanted to surprise her

They talked for months after their first encounter with each other

She told him that she was going to the park for the day to enjoy the peacefulness

He told her he wishes he could be there with her

She wanted nothing more than that

He was already in Virginia, he was filming for his TV show

He took his time off from filming to go surprise her. Finding her wasn't a problem being as how she posted a picture on her private Instagram with the location tagged. He took this opportunity to use his maps app and go to her and so he did, the location of the park was just within walking distance to where his set was, he freshened up his appearance and walked to the park.

When he found her she had his back to him sitting on a hill, back pressed against a tree with a book in her hand and journal and a pen with the initials S.R engraved on it though those initials didn't mean anything to him having how they never told the other about their ex's names.

She heard the footsteps crunching the leaves beneath their feet but didn't think anything of it, she was too engrossed into her book she was reading and writing notes and quotes about in her journal and the stolen pen of her once lover, she got over the man with shaggy brown hair and a pretty smile that could light up the room. She didn't want to dwell on this past being as how it consisted of him, she was moving on, moving on to a man named Evan Peters who seemed to like her as much as she did him with his mid-length, blonde, shaggy hair.

y/n didn't even notice that she's been staring at the same page for the whole time until she felt some sit on the other side of the tree, she didn't get to turn her head to see who the person was because of the voice that gave them away.

"Boo!" he exclaimed

She jumped but not in fear but surprise and excitement

"Oh my god!" she exclaimed while closing her book and pushing away her journal and pen to jump into the blonde's arms nuzzling her face into his neck while he buried his face into her hair.

The couple hasn't had their first kiss yet and this was the only physical touch they've given each other since months after their first encounter.

"What are you doing here?" y/n said still clinging onto the man in a black trench coat with black jeans and a white shirt paired with tan-brown Chelsea boots.

"Well I'm shooting a couple of episodes for my show here and thought I'd use my time off to see my favorite girl," Evan said still holding her waist, making his grip tighter on her to push her closer to him as possible.

She smiled, her eyes sparkled, her face was one of happiness. In the first in one year, she felt genuine happiness in her life and it was because of this man, who felt that she didn't deserve.
