The moon had already appeared but Jeongyeon can't quite take her eyes off the horizon, the stars blinking endlessly above them. She gazed at the side, looking at him as he also stares towards the sky with pureness in his smile. She's thankful for him, for Jimin and she knows deep inside, nothing can ever replace what he did for her at the very beginning. But behind those thoughts, that glee she had, something had never left her foggy mind which had been bothering her ever since... ever since her life had fallen into a mess.

       "Jimin."

"Hm." The prince faced her with a smile as they head through the palace grounds, watching the torches glimmer at the far edges.

"Thank you for this day." She said, lifting a soft chuckle. "I enjoyed it, really."

He answered back with a genuine nod.

"Then you'll enjoy more when you see them. They are excited to see you this dinner."

Jeongyeon gazed at him and she could see the anticipation lingering in. It dawned on the man she met this morning, the one whose name is Namjoon that asked her to come and now she remembers what Jimin told her before, back at the meadow that he has six brothers and funny enough, she thought he was joking around but as she finds herself here, what he said was all the truth.

        Nothing but the truth.

"Your happiness is what matters to me... nothing can ever change that." His eyes fell atop her head and before she could stray away, that crescent smile had tugged on the ends of his lips. "Let me fix that for you."

Jeongyeon stood there while he took hold of the crown of red roses in his hand, brushing her hair with his fingers as he finally turned to her with yet another smile, this time, it spoke of the silence that bores between them.

"Jeongyeon." The prince called. "I would do everything to make you happy. Even it takes forever."

She holds his hand, prying him to a stop. She can't longer keep this to herself. One way or another, she will come to this...they will come to this and she can't bear to not say a thing. Even the thought itself was difficult for her to accept, she just can't live a life like this.

"Jimin, I can't stay here forever." Jeongyeon said in a whisper, soft, calm. "I—I don't belong here, or in any place but Earth."

"Why did you think of that?"

"I—" She breathed, unable to say the next words. "I can't just hold you up and intervene with your life, Jimin. You have done so much; they have done so much for me. I can't help but think it is better this—"

"Better what?" Jimin drew nearer to her, looked at her as if she's the only thing that matters to him. "I need you to understand Jeongyeon, that it's my own singular decision to be here... with you. That even I have many choices in my hands, it is you I will choose for."
