Jeongyeon was relieved he was the first one to ask—she had thought of it. Thought of asking him to come with her at least... show him around the town but she was happy he initiated. They were heading to the café in silence. Jimin was walking beside her, taking glances from time to time but what astonished him is how beautiful this place looks. He would look around, astounded by the scenic view this town holds. The structure, the peacefulness, far different from where he was born.
"What do you call that thing?" Jeongyeon gazed back at him, a little surprised. Only when she realized what he was talking about.
"This one?" She asked, side glancing.
Jimin nods his head.
"We call it bicycle."
Jeongyeon wanted to ask more, of how he remains absurd of many things but then, she remembered what he told her before, of where he came from and how he described the scarcity of resources they have in the mountains. She let the matter drop.
"What's the purpose of it?" The immortal further questioned, slightly unaware of how the object moves. "It looks a little fragile."
Jeongyeon only chuckled in return, amused by the way he asks random questions. She knows he was being serious when his gaze on the object didn't falter so she mounted on the bicycle and showed him properly how it is used.
"We use it as a transportation." She cycles around him, his gaze following her. "Entertainment, like that. When you want to go to places, people use this." Jeongyeon paused, trying to come up with the right words. "If travelling far, people mainly use vehicles. You know, the one with tires and bulk engines."
She looked at Jimin, reading his expressions if whether she had given a just explanation to his query, but then, the man quirked a short nod and flashed a small entertained grin in a span of a second before Jeongyeon could even take another glance of him.
Jeongyeon unmounted from the bicycle. "You can try."
Jimin gazed at her with widen eyes which quickly smoothens. "I'm fine. Watching you ride a bicycle is a sight to see."
"I won't be using it anyway but I can teach you."
He was hesitant at first but he knows, even how far he argues and excuse himself, he will be doing the opposite. Jimin was stunned by the idea. He was always a follower except to the part where he questioned their King... and was led to his banishment. He always had a way in following people, whatever they had to say and how much opposition he had in his mind, he does what they wanted. The same thing that goes with Jeongyeon. He always follows her. He always does what she says.
But the different thing is, even for once, he didn't find himself in such conflict.
Jimin held the handle while Jeongyeon guides him.
