Eilfir

        "What did you see?"

The elder prince asked with wary eyes, not sparing any minute for Namjoon to rest after the vision had occurred—he stood on his feet, still, with his mind occupied by the images he saw. The darkness. And Taehyung... Taehyung. He can't stitch the whole picture; he can't seem to understand where it is heading at... the vision. The king felt so vulnerable at the moment. And the second time Yoongi called his name, only he was brought back to reality.

"What did you see?" The prince asked once again, quite impatient.

Namjoon bored his head and closed his eyes, wincing at the memory.

"I-I saw you." He paused. "And Jin. Hoseok. Jungkook... All of you. You were standing in broad daylight. And—it disappeared. Then... all was black."

Namjoon can't bear to tell the other detail—when Eilfir was completely covered with darkness. Not now. Not until he's ready, not until he knows what he is dealing with.

"That's it?" Doubt filled Yoongi's voice. "What does it mean?"

The king faltered for a while and began to walk away, towards the inner hall while the elder prince trails behind. Namjoon squeezed his eyes shut, took a deep breath then opened them once again. What does the vision show? There's a gloom of thought at the back of his mind. And the darkness?

He knows what the darkness meant. He fairly knew to himself. But no matter how countless times it slipped pass his mind, he can't bear to live up with the thought.

        Namjoon remained in denial.

        "You know something." Said Yoongi.

"I've known you for so long Namjoon. I can read every bit of you, the way you move and think. I've seen you the other night. You went to the seer." He answered in a dead pan manner. "There's something you're not telling us."

The king gazed away, how much he hated the feeling of being easily read. "Not now, Yoongi."

        "You can tell us."

Namjoon hesitantly opened his mouth and for a second, he found himself in such distraught.

"I'll tell you when I find the answer. But this time, trust me on whatever this is. You said you'd known me well enough," The king gazed at his eyes but all he could see is the softening of the rough edges. "Then be patient with me, Yoongi. This is a king's matter I have to deal alone."

Namjoon teared his gaze away and as they reached the end of the hall, towards where the stables are, he called the maidservants.

        "Bring to me my horse!"
