Jeongyeon silently closed the door, making sure it wouldn't cause a thud. It was evening and he had been sleeping for hours now. She was quite relieved... at ease that she had done something. Save him. Give a lending hand. She knew to herself she wouldn't bare sitting around, having someone around, unwell. The least she could do is help.

Jeongyeon trailed as she pinned strands of her hair in her hair, making herself presentable.

"He will be alright." A visiting doctor named Deoir managed to say, watching her from beside him.

"It's great that you called. I was about to head to the city, but then I thought I would drop here to check on you."

Jeongyeon smiled. They reached the living room in seconds.

"I will just give you some prescriptions. Ointment and antibiotic for the infection. The fever will subside as long as the wound is clean. No worry."

He handed her a couple of papers. She gazed at it for a while, reading the names of the medication then placed it on top of the center table after.

        "But I found something unusual."

Jeongyeon looked at him with curiosity in her eyes, expecting, that whatever he says will either surprise her or the other way around.

        "What is that?"

"There are different phases of wound healing. And the case for him seems like, well..." He paused, trying to figure out how to say the next words. "—was very progressive. The healing process is quick and it's great... it's great. You said it's been a week?"

Jeongyeon nodded. Yes. More than a week—ten days since Jinyoung found him.

"I just found it extraordinary, that's all."

She smiled once again, softly this time. It is wonderful news then, she said to herself. He will get better and he will be healed. Perhaps, he will leave when he knows he's finally okay, and then everything will go back to normal, just like before. The burden of responsibility suddenly weighed less and it sent her peace for a moment.

"Just call me anytime, Jeongyeon. I'll be back soon."

The doctor bid goodbye with a small gesture before venturing outside, climbing onto a parked vehicle just a few steps ahead. Exactly as the machine growled into life, the gates opened, revealing Jinyoung. He was preoccupied, looking at a certain direction before realizing Jeongyeon was standing at the far entrance of the house.

"Was that Mr. Deoir?" He asked, grew a little puzzled. "Paying for a visit?"

Jeongyeon mused a small smile. "Yeah. Somewhat like that." Walking beside him as they entered. "He was ill so I called him."
