Weeks went by and I never spoke of the kiss. Every time I passed him in the hallways or secretly stared at him, the kiss always came seeping into my brain.

I couldn't sleep, I would toss and turn all night, just thinking of him and what his hands could do to my body.

Sitting on the balcony, looking out at the mountains was my calm place. The sun blazing on my face always did make me smile. It was like diamonds on my skin. Locking up, Austin had sat next to me.

"We need to talk."

""You have been avoiding me these past weeks."

"I just haven't had anything to say, I've been studying for finals."

"There will be guests tonight around 7."

"Don't come out of your room til they leave."

"Ok"

Later that evening, the guests arrived. Looking out the window I saw 2 tall, burly looking men get out of the car. I suddenly bagged away from the window, when Austin looked up.

I wonder who these two people are, considering Austin didn't want me out of the room meant they didn't know I was here. Which is a good thing, considering my father hasn't solved the issue pertaining to the threat on my life.

Later that night I showered and put on a large shirt and panties. I opened my room door and looked out to make sure he wasn't up. I walked into the kitchen and headed toward the fridge. I drank a cup of water.

Turning the lights off and scurrying back toward my room, I crashed into him causing our lips to connect. His strong arms wrapped around my waist. The sparks happened causing a tingling sensation up and down my spine.

This was our second kiss. Pulling away from him, with a bug-eyed expression on my face, I locked eyes with him.

"If you wanted me to kiss you again, you could've asked." He says with a cocky smirk, letting out a playful laugh.

"You remember that, I thought you didn't remember anything from that night?"

"I remember that night, I just didn't bring it up because I thought it made you uncomfortable."

"It didn't make me uncomfortable."

Locking eyes with each other. There was this unspoken tension in the air, that needed to be cut.

We leaped into a hot passionate kiss, that took my breath away. I knew at that moment, I wasn't going to get an ounce of sleep and that was ok by me.
