"Keep me out of whose way?" Jungkook asked. His lecture had ended sooner as the professor had some kind of seminar to attend and jungkook, having no where else to go, came straight home.
"You're home already jungkook?" Taehyung asked. "Yeah the lecture ended sooner than I had expected." He replied. "Oh" hoseok said.
That was when jungkook noticed the other two alphas in the room. He had grown comfortable around taehyung considering that he lived with him, but he was still super shy in front of everybody else. Especially the higher ranks.
"G-good afternoon a-lphas." He greeted, as respectfully as he could. "Am I i- interupting s-something?" He asked.
"No, no. It's alright. We were kind of talking about you." Hoseok said, looking at taehyung indirectly, only to see him glaring at them.
"And you don't have to call us alpha's. Just call us hyungs." Yoongi said, smilling a bit.
Jungkook nodded, smiling back. But his smile was a lot smaller than yoongi's.
Taehyung almost growled out of instinct. Why were his hyungs being so sweet around jungkook?
"I think you both should leave now hyungs." The beta said, giving them a tight smile. "I think it would be better if we explain it to him with you, tae." Hoseok suggested.
This time taehyung didn't hold it back, he growled lowly, in a threatening way. He knew he was getting a bit too jealous but he couldn't control it. His scent grew bitter as he glared at hoseok.
Jungkook was the most affected by the smell. Being an omega, he was naturally more sensitive to scents. He also let out quiet whimper when he heard his hyung's growl. Although it was unnoticed by everyone except yoongi.
"Kim Taehyung, keep it down. You're scaring him." Yoongi said, sternly while pointing back at jungkook.
Taehyung sighed, "I'm just jealous." He wanted to say. But he didn't, 'cause jungkook was literally standing behind him. So, he decided to stay quiet and nod, trying his best to control himself.
"T-hanks." Jungkook said, making eye contact with yoongi. He was still feeling a bit overwhelmed with the tensed atmosphere.
"No problem. Why don't you come and sit here while we have a little chat. There's something we want to tell you." Yoongi said, pointing at hoseok and himself.
Jungkook frowned in confusion, but nodded none the less. "Did I d-do something wrong?" He asked.
"No. An idiot is just too jealous." Hoseok said, scoffing. But taehyung decided to ignore him.
Jungkook sat down besides taehyung. "So, remember namjoon? The college prefect?" Yoongi started.
"Y-yeah..." Jungkook said in a small voice. Something about namjoon always made jungkook anxious. Maybe because of his dominant aura. Or simply because of the fact that the alpha didn't like him, for some reason.
"And I am assuming that taehyung already told you the reason why he hates you." Hoseok added, jungkook only nodded.
"But I didn't tell him about Jin hyung. He doesn't needs to know." Taehyung said, sternly. He himself didn't knew why he was hiding SeokJin and Namjoon's story from jungkook.
"Alright then, we won't tell him about Jin hyung." Hoseok said, turning back towards the youngest after that. "So, back to what I was saying. You might've sensed that namjoon is a pure blood alpha." He continued.
Jungkook nodded, just realising why the older seemed much more dominant than any other alpha in the college.
"Yeah, his mate kind of left him and..."
"And he hates all omegas with a passion now. That's the reason he has been subtly picking on you for no reason. We, as his friends are trying to stop him but he just wouldn't listen." Yoongi said, cutting off hobi.
"Plus, tae and him are really close. And I think he feels like you will do something... Similar to taehyung." He said, trying his best to avoid the topic of taehyung's crush. He knew tae didn't want to confess yet and he didn't want to give the youngest any hints either.
Jungkook, on the other hand was completely speechless. What was he even supposed to say? How was he supposed to react?
"H-hyungs I-I-" he hesitated for a while. "Why w-would I ever do t-that to t-taehyung hyung?" He asked, looking down at his lap.
"We know you wouldn't do that, kookie." Hoseok said, in a assuring tone. "But thats just how namjoon is. Right now, he has enough power to get you in trouble. Not to mention that the college faculty trusts him a lot too."
"B-but what sh-should I d-do now?" The omega asked. "I c-cant le-eave the c-college. T-taehyung hyung k-knows t-that." He added.
"It's ok kook. We're not telling you to leave. That is what I was talking about before you arrived. You just do your thing and stay away from Namjoon hyung, ok?" Taehyung said, placing his hand on the younger's shoulder to give him a bit of comfort.
Jungkook only nodded, smilling lightly when he felt a sweet smell cover him. Taehyung, Yoongi, and Hoseok had all started releasing their pheromones in an attempt to calm the omega down.
"T-thank you h-hyungs." He said, looking up from his lap. Everyone smiled at him, making him let out a small giggle.
"What are you laughing at kookie?" Taehyung asked. "All of you h-have different s-smiles... T-tae hyung's s-smile looks l-ike a b-box, Y-yoongi hyung's s-smiles l-looks gummy a-and h-hoseok h-hyung smile looks l-like a h-heart." He said, grinning.
"And you look like a bunny, Jungkookie." Taehyung cooed, pinching the younger's cheeks.
"We should leave now, it's almost time for dinner." Yoongi said, nudging hoseok, who nodded. "Yeah, we'll get going then!" Hobi said back.
Jungkook and taehyung nodded, got up, and bid them farewell.
"But h-hyung..." Jungkook asked, earning tae's attention. "Yeah?" He asked.
"W-hy d-did you call m-me k-kookie?"
