Author's POV

"Like your room?" Tae asked, leaning against the door frame of their bedroom which had two beds on the opposite sides. Jungkook smiles a bit, nodding. He really liked the room although he would've appreciated a seperate room but he was still grateful.

"Alright then, make yourselves home while I cook something for lunch." The older of the two said. "And yeah, you can use that cupboard, it's empty since jin hyung left." He added and left.

Jungkook's eyes slightly widened at the metion of that name. Jin hyung. But he still shrugged it off. "That can't be his SeokJin hyung, right?" He thought. Jin was indeed a common syllable used in korean names, so the chances of the two "jin"s being the same were very narrow.

He shook his head and proceeded to arrange his things. He didn't have much stuff so it didn't take too much time. After finishing the task in hand, he went ahead and helped tae a bit with the lunch although he was almost finished.

They didn't make anything fancy either. Just something taehyung put together, randomly. Well, at least it tasted good.

As soon as they were done, they set the table and started eating while having small chats in between, most of which were started by the older.

"So, where are you from?" He asked, putting down the container with rice. "Me? Oh I'm from Busan. You?" Jungkook answered, from the kitchen. "I'm from Daegu. And I'm happily that you didn't stutter this time." Tae said with a wide, rectangular grin.

"Y-yeah. I kinda feel safe around you." Jungkook said, a bit above a whisper. But taehyung caught it. "Thanks. We'll be great roommates then, I guess." He replied, not knowing what else to say.

"Yeah." The younger said with a light giggle. "Anyways, did your parents pay for college?" Taehyung asked, making jungkook freeze. "Am I comfortable enough to tell him yet?" He asked himself and then shook his head. He wasn't ready yet.

"It's k-kind of personal..." He said. Taehyung sensed the uneasiness so he swiftly changed the topic. "What's your major?" He asked. "Photography. But I also wanted to take fine arts." Jungkook replied.

The rest of the afternoon was spent while chating. Taehyung told jungkook more about the ins and outs of their college. The different kinds of students, staff and faculty. And he did his best to avoid the topic of bullies. Why? 'Cause he was part of the biggest bully group in their college, BTS.

And, he also knew very well, that namjoon had an eye out for jungkook. No matter what he did to protect the younger, Namjoon was almost unstoppable for anyone in the college. He was a pure blood alpha, which meant he was not only the strongest of the three ranks, but also among the strongest alphas in the world.

In short, he was the strongest of the strongest.

On top of that, namjoon didn't have anything to loose. The whole BTS knew all too well that Kim Namjoon, the leader of their group and pack, was gonna die within the next few years.
