Jungkook had not only started with his part time job but also hanging out with the other hyungs. All of them, yes including namjoon, had became weirdly protective over the omega. But, honestly, who wouldn't be protective over a shy innocent omega.
Anyways, all of them were now hanging out in Namjoon and Jimin's room. Watching tv, and eating some random snacks. When Taehyung's phone rang.
"Oh, it's Jin Hyung!" He said out loud to everyone. Everyone perked up except jungkook. He had heard a lot about this "Jin" person and he did sound like his jinnie Hyung, but you can never be sure.
"Hey Hyung! It's been so long!!" Taehyung said, excitedly, into the phone. Everyone else in the room could also hear the conversation as the phone was on speaker.
"Yeah, I know tae. I was just a bit caught up with some stuff. How are you guys? Everything good at college?" Jin asked, from the other side of the call. "All of us are perfect here, Hyung! And yes college has been great. Namjoon Hyung became the prefect this year too! And we made a new friend too!" Taehyung said, sounding like a kid telling his parent about his first day at school.
"Wow, namjoon must've grown up a lot then." A faint chuckle was heard from jin's side. "Anyways, I'm coming back to Seoul after a few days!" Jin finally announced. Tae's eyes were wide as sossors while everyone else also made some kind of cheering sound, except namjoon who bit his lip but no one noticed apart from jungkook.
"Really Hyung? That's a great news! We've all been missing you!" Taehyung said, and the other four agreed. "I know, I'll be living in seoul from now on and guess where I'm working?" Jin said. "Where?" Taehyung asked with a grin.
"In our college!! I got a part time job as a librarian!" Jin's words made taehyung almost yell in happiness. "Woah Hyung!! I can't wait till you reach here!" Taehyung said, along with Hoseok this time. Yoongi had a big smile on his face while jimin was grinning too. Jungkook was smiling softly at them while namjoon kept grumbling under his breath.
"Hyung, you ok?" Jungkook asked, looking away from taehyung and the others who were all talking loudly on the phone. "He's just doing this to make me jealous isn't he? He want me to come and propose to him, doesn't he?" Namjoon asked, his tone sounded like he was blaming jungkook.
"Hyung, he's just coming here to meet his old friends and to join his job, I bet he doesn't mean anything like you said." Jungkook tried to convince. But namjoon was obviously not having it.
"Do you think he already got a mate?" Namjoon asked softly, without making eye contact with jungkook. "I don't know Hyung, but if you are his mate, then you guys are destined to meet. Don't worry too much about that." Jungkook said. This sounded convincing enough to namjoon. "Thanks kookie," he said. "It's nothing Hyung, just don't let those thoughts take over you." Jungkook said before looking back at the tv.
Jungkook was kind, sweet, caring, everything an omega should be. Sometimes, namjoon wished Jin was more like jungkook. But that was far from true. Jin was one of those badass omegas who would do anything rather than settle down with their mate. And Namjoon hated it.
The conversation on the phone soon ended and the excited members finally started calming down. "Jungkook, I really wanted you to meet jin Hyung!" Taehyung said. "Yeah, he does sound like a great person. By the way Namjoon Hyung, do you still want to find a mate?" Jungkook asked. "I don't need to find a mate jungkook, I already know who he is. And yes, I still want to." Namjoon said, slightly annoyed at the question. Why wouldn't he want to be with his mate?
"You're a lot confident now Hyung, I think you should give it a shot this time." Jungkook said smiling a bit. "Yeah, kookie is right, you really should." Yoongi said, patting the younger's shoulder. "yup, I bet it will go way better." Hoseok said.
"Yeah, I guess." Jimin mumbled. Namjoon smilled at his friends, not quite noticing jimin. "Thanks guys, I will try my best." Namjoon said.
"Maybe the jungkook kid isn't that bad after all." He thought to himself.
"Taehyung Hyung, where did you put my phone?" Jungkook asked, out of the blue.
"Oh yeah, I think I forgot it back in our room. Sorry." Taehyung said, with a laugh. He didn't think it was a big deal. Jungkook bit his lips. It could have been a big deal...
