"What are we?"

Kei flinched, and backed away from the other middle blocker. What are they? Well, Kei hasn't thought of that before. Were they dating? Were they hooking up? Or, were they just playing around with each other?

"Uh-um..." Kei stuttered. He didn't want to make eye-contact with Tetsuro, as it would make him feel pressured.
"We-we're...I..." Kei mumbled. "...Don't know..."

Tetsuro looked at him. "You don't know?"
Kei didn't know what to say. He stood there, fiddling with his fingers, trying to find the right words.
"Kuroo-san...." He croaked. "I do...like you...a lot..."

Tetsuro's eyes widen, and his heart started to beat. "Tsuki...You like me?"
Kei nodded slowly. "For a while, actually, I just didn't know I did." He whispered. "I'm sorry, I was just being selfish, thinking that I didn't like you, and saying that you'd find someone better, and-"
Kei stopped talking, as he felt the warmth of Tetsuro's touch.
"Tsuki...You could've just said so." He said. Kei felt like crying. After all this time, he managed to confess. He gripped onto Tetsuro's shirt, as the other boy hugged him tight.

After a few minutes, Tetsuro broke the silence. "Sooo...are we dating?" He asked. Kei flinched, then looked up at his face.
"Umm...I mean, if you want to.." he blushed. Tetsuro chuckled, and kissed his forehead.
"Then I shall be known as Tsukishima Tetsuro." He joked. Kei glared at him.
"No." He said. Tetsuro looked at him.
"You don't wanna marry me?" He pouted. Kei blushed more.
"I-idiot, of course I'll marry you, I guess, but why does it have to be my last name?" He asked. Tetsuro chuckled again.
"Ok, then you will be known as 'Kuroo Kei'." He said. Kei smiled a little.
"I...Guess I like that..." He mumbled. Tetsuro's face blushed. He squeezed Kei harder into a hug.
"Ugh- Kuroo-san-" Kei said, trying to unwrap the other boys arms. As Kei was fighting for his life, he suddenly realized:

"Don't we have school?" He asked. Tetsuro unraveled his arms.
"Oh, damn, you're right." He tapped his chin. Kei scoffed.
"It's 6, and we have to get to school by 7:30, and I go to school in Miyagi!" He said. Tetsuro chuckled.
"Ok, ok, I'll get ready, and send you home."

~Timeskip~
Kei and Tetsuro had just made it to Miyagi.

"Ugh, it's already past 9..." Kei groaned. "I'm late for school, really late."
"Calm down, this isn't the first time you've missed class, is it?" Tetsuro asked. Kei rolled his eyes, and sighed.

They arrived to Kei's home, it already being 10:00.
"Ok, I'll be heading back to Tokyo, kisses!" Tetsuro said. Kei scoffed, and placed a kiss on his boyfriend's head.
"I'll see you at the training camp."
Tetsuro smiled. "Yep, see you next week."
Kei watched his boyfriend drive away into the road, then walked up to the porch. He unlocked the door, and slipped on his shoes.

"Akiteru, I'm home!" He called out. No answer. Hmm, he probably went to work. Kei thought. He found a note on the kitchen table.

Hey Kei, I just went to work, I'll be back at 2:30, I hope you're ok. - Akiteru

"Oh, guess I was right." Kei shrugged. He walked I to his room to change his clothes, and head to school.

Kei made it to school, not caring if he was late or not. He bumped into Yamaguchi in the halls.

"Oh! Tsuki, you're here." Yamaguchi said.
"Hm, sorry I showed up really late, working in Tokyo is stressful." Kei said. Yamaguchi shook his head.
"No, no, it's ok, I knew that this would happen, so I picked up your homework." He said, as he handed Kei a paper file.
"Oh, thank you." Kei nodded.
"Mhm, no problem." Yamaguchi smiled. The two walked through the halls together until it was time for class.

Kei arrived to volleyball practice, and yet again, he was the last one there.
"Sorry I'm late." He said, as he switched his shoes.
"No worries, we were just talking about the training camp." Sugawara shook his head. "Apparently, this training camp is quite smaller than the ones we usually go to, so some teams will end up having to share a room with each other." He explained.
"Oh, really?" Kei asked. "Do we know which teams will be sharing with who?"
"Well, we won't know until we get there, and set up or place." Sugawara smiled nervously. Kei nodded, then sat down with the others.

"Ok, huddle up everyone, we have something to say." Coach Ukai cleared his throat.
"First of all, you all are going to need to sign a permission slip for the camp, because the camp we're going to is small, and the providers there would like to know how many people will be staying." He explained. Kiyoko walked around, handing the others permission slips.

Hmm, I need to ask Masao if he could clear my schedule for the next week in a half. Kei thought. Should I do it now? He pulled out his phone. Hm, better than waiting for last minute.

Kei
Hey, Masao, I have a question

Masao
What's up, Tsukishima?

Kei
I was wondering if I could clear my schedule for the next week in a half?

Masao
Hmm, I'll have to check, but what for?

Kei
Volleyball training camp

Masao
Ah, ok, I'll see if anyone is willing to take over your shifts

Kei
Ok, but I can come back, if no one is available

Masao
No, no it's ok, but where's the training camp located?

Kei
Oh, it's in Tokyo

Masao
Ok, that's fine, then I'll know you can come over if we need your help

Kei
Anytime

Masao
Ok, bye

Kei sighed, and put his phone away.

"Who was that?" Nishinoya appeared over his shoulder. Kei's heart skipped a beat, then he glared at the smaller boy.

"It was just a friend." He rolled his eyes.
"No, it's one of your co-workers." Nishinoya said. Kei scoffed.
"Keep your 6th-grader -looking-self out of my business."
Nishinoya suddenly felt robbed. "Oi, I'm not a 6th grader!"
"Your appearance says otherwise." Kei snapped back. Nishinoya was going to say something back, but then someone covered his mouth. He looked up, just to find an unsatisfied team captain.

"Knock it off, Nishinoya." Daichi glared.
"Er- sorry, Daichi-san..." Nishinoya mumbled. Daichi sighed, as he let go of the other boy.
"Sorry, about that." He shook his head.
"It's fine." Kei said. Daichi patted his shoulder, then walked away. Kei sighed, then got to practice.

Haha....yet another crappy ending.
The next chapters will be based on the training camp, and I'm sorry for taking so long to update, I have 2 projects due this week, and like that's been taking up most of my time.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I'll see you in the next one!
