Chapter 3-New Friends

"She pretty much called me fat, and she said 'we'll at least have a personality other than bitchy' " Aisha retold the events to the table.

"It's no big deal, I hate bullies, now can we talk about something else, like what you want to do after school today?" I stated.

"Normally we go to the mall and get comic books, but we could totally do something else." Demetri exclaimed.

"I can't, I have karate lessons." Miguel stated.

"Oh really that's cool. Where do you go?" Aisha questioned.

"Cobra Kai." Miguel replied, "My Sensei is awesome, he lives in my apartment complex. You guys should totally come and check it out."

"Sure that sounds awesome." Aisha stated.

"Eli? Demetri? y/n?" I couldn't stop thinking. I shook my head and tried to keep myself together.

"No thank you I like to resort to verbal fights rather than fist fights." Demetri stated.

"I'm down." Eli spoke up. He was staring at this guy who was now sitting at the table Sam was at.

Everyone was looking at me.

"I- I'm good, maybe some other time." I stated, I looked up to see Robby, he started to walk over to us.

"Hey Lil Sis." He stated he pulled a chair from another table and sat on it backwards next to me.

"Hey Big Bro. Where were you? You missed, like all of lunch." I exclaimed

"Oh uh nowhere, what did I miss?" He questioned.

"Well this is Eli, Demetri, Miguel, and Aisha. Everyone, this is my brother Robby." I introduced them.

"You missed your sister being a badass!" Aisha exclaimed, She retold what I told to Yasmin again, and I knew what Robby was thinking with that look he was giving me.

"It's no big deal," I stated, "Then we started talking about plans of what to do after school, did you know that Miguel is into Karate."

He already knew what we were saying.

"Yeah he goes to, uh what's it called again?" I asked.

"Cobra Kai." I stated, Robby ignored it

"That's cool, I heard there are good movie's showing at the theater today how about after your practice we can do that?"

Everyone thought that was a great idea. Miguel pulled up movies that are showing and we all decided on a Marvel movie.

"Wait before we leave I need your numbers." I started

I pulled my phone out, and we all exchanged numbers. Just as I was handing Eli back his phone, the bell rang. We all went to class, and our next until finally school was over. I texted Robby but he didn't answer, I ran into Miguel, Aisha, and Eli.

"Hey guys what's up?" I asked

"Oh nothing, I'm just telling these guys about Cobra Kai." Miguel explained.

"Yeah I think I'm going to sign up!" exclaimed Aisha, "Plus he was telling me about the financial part of it, and my parents are loaded."

We all laughed.

"What about you Eli?" I asked.

"Oh I-I don't know." He said stuttering.

"Well I think you would be good at it!" I exclaimed.

"Really?" He questioned.

"Yeah of course" I stated.

"Yeah Eli, and Sensei Lawrence is really cool!" Miguel exclaimed.
