Chapter 8- Hanging out

We played a couple of games, had a mini tournament, one v. one until we got the best and the worst player, Demetri was the worst, followed by Aisha, then me then Eli and finally Miguel. We all thought it was pretty accurate as to how is the most physically fit, Demetri wasn't the most okay with it, but we all just laughed it off, We played Skee ball, and other fun games. Eli used one of those wheels that chooses how many tickets you get, he landed on the maximum, we all went to get stuff at the counter. Aisha got a couple of small stuff along with Demetri, Miguel got like 30 erasers for no reason, I was being really indecisive, so the others went and walked around the arcade, Eli was still choosing what he wanted.

"Hmmm i'm not sure what I want, I could get candy everyone loves candy, but I could also get that cheap bracelet." I had my hand on my chin, I couldn't decide.

"Get the bracelet." Eli said, trying to help me decide.

"No I want the candy," I stated, I pointed it out to the lady, and she brought it for me.

"I'll take that light blue dinosaur plushie." Eli stated, pointing out a small little stuffed animal.

"Aw you like stuffed animals, that's really cute." I said as we were leaving to catch up with the group.

"Sorry to disappoint, but this isn't for me." He said. I gave him a confused look, "It's for you."

"Omg really?" I was so confused, "You didn't have to, you could have gotten something you wanted."

"I wanted to get this for you." He said, giving me a smile, we stopped walking, and I looked up at him, and gave him a hug, my arms were around his waist, and my head on this chest.

"Thanks" I whispered into his chest. After a second, his arms came around me and were holding my waist, it was a really nice hug, it was so comforting, and it was nice and warm. My heart was racing, and I'm pretty sure that my cheeks were bright red. We pull apart, and look at each other for the longest time. He clears his throat and shakes his head.

"Um we should probably find everyone else." He stated, he handed me the plush, and we found our way to the group, he headed out the door.

We all decided to head to a park, we got to a park, it was small, and kinda hidden. We get onto the main part, we all kinda just fill in, Miguel hopes up on the side way, and demetri mimics him, without as much ease that Miguel has. Me and Eli, sit by the slide, and Aisha across from me. This right here was awesome, I had a couple of friends at my boarding school, but none like this, we all just clicked. We talked a while, we shared a lot of our secrets, I told them about my brother, and how he fell into the wrong crowd. Miguel told us that his dad wasn't in his life, and he was glad about it. Eli told us about his lip, in depth, how it was a scare from the surgery, I held and squeezed his hand. Aisha told us about Sam, and how awful she has been treating her, I got really mad, that damn LaRusso. On that subject Miguel got really awkward. It wasn't a forced conversation, more of a midnight pillow talk when you have a sleepover. After a while, Miguel got a phone call, it was his family asking him to make his way home, Aisha got a text, Eli got a text, and Demetri got a text. We all got into the car, and made our way to drop people off, first it was Demetri, then it was Aisha, then Eli, and last it was me.

"What's wrong y/n" Miguel asked me as I hopped into the front seat.

"Oh nothing." It wasn't nothing.

"Come on, you can tell me." Miguel stated, he looked at me, and then back at the rode.

"It's nothing, but." I started, "You got a call, and everyone got a text, you guys have parents. I know that my dad tried his best, but I just want a parent to fight with because I stayed out late, or I'm being disrespectful."

"Im sorry y/n, I never thought of it like that." Miguel stated.

"I'm not trying to throw a pity party, or try and make your problems seem less." I stated.

"You're not y/n, you deserve to have a great family life, everyone does. I know I'm lucky to have my yaya and my mom." He said.

"Can you keep a secret?" I asked him.

"Uh yeah." He stated.

"I've been thinking about moving in with my dad, but I don't want to hurt Robby, and I'm not even sure if my dad wants me to." I said.

"Holy shit really?" Miguel stated.

"Yeah, I'm tired of not having a parent around, and having to do everything, I'm not even sure if the heat will be on when I get home, My dad has Cobra Kai, a little bit of money coming in, it's better than what I have now."

"I can talk to him if you want, see if he would want to." Miguel suggested.

"You will really?" I stated, "That's great! Thank you!"

"No problem, and if you do we can be neighbors." He stated, we laughed.

"That would be fun." I stated.

"He yeah it would, we could throw parties, have everyone over, and hangout all the time!" He exclaimed,

"Shit now i'm too excited." I stated as he pulled up to the apartment.

"I'll talk to him tomorrow, see you later y/n" he said I hopped out the car.

"By Miguel!" I waved and walked into the front, and headed up to our apartment. I got home, and Robby wasn't there. What is he doing?!? I put a tank top on with booty shorts as usual. I went to my room and started to watch tv. I got a text shortly after.

'Welcome to the group chat Bitches!' Aisha texted, The chat consisted of Miguel, Demetri, Eli, Me, and Aisha.

'What's up bitches' Miguel replied I could tell he was doing it to be stupid.

'Myyyy bitchessss' Eli bounced off the joke.

'Why are we saying bitches' Demetri added.

'Oh Demetri poor Demetri.' I texted.

'What?' He replied.

'Nothing bro we are just joking around.' Eli stated.

'Ugh I'm so bored!' I texted changing the subject.

'Same' Miguel texted

'Literally nothing to do' Eli said.

'Truth or Dare?' Aisha proposed.

'Hell yeah!' I replied, everyone else sent stuff like sure and yeah.

'I'll start!' Aisha said, 'y/n truth or dare?'

'I'm feeling daring, i'll go dare' I replied.

'I have great ones for if we were together irl, ugh' Aisha stated

'Just go!' Miguel sent with an eye rolling emoji

'Haha' Demetri added, and Eli sent a laughing emoji.

'Shut up' She sent with an eye rolling emoji, 'i dare you to drink salty milk.'

'Your evil' I sent with a glare emoji.

'And take a video.' Eli added.

'I hope your pillow is warm on both sides." I sent.

All he replied with was a couple laughing emoji. I go to my kitchen, and pull out the milk, and salt, I prop my phone up to where they can see me prepare the drink. I pour the milk and add the salt. I stirred it, and drank a sip, I swallowed, but immediately turned around and ran to the sink. I ran my head under the faucet, and rinsed my mouth out. I wiped my face, and turned the video off, I pressed a couple of buttons and sent.

'I'm so glad I'm not you...' Miguel sent with a couple laughing emoji

'That looked like it was bad' Demetri said with cry laughing emojis

'Oh trust me it was.' i replied

'Ok ok now it's your turn.' Aisha stated.+
