Chapter 17- Flipping the Script

"Come on I have a plan" Eli said, he guided me to the corner store, we walked in, and made our way through the isles.

"What are we looking for?" I asked giggling. He stopped right by the hair care station, he had a smile on his face.

"Hair dye." He said he pulled out two colors

"Red or Blue?" I asked.

"Blue." I said, he set the red back down, and grabbed a black he started to walk to the counter. I pulled him back and grabbed another bottle of blue and a bleach.

"Let's do this!" I exclaimed.

We went to the counter and got the hair dye. We left the convenient store and started to walk to his house. We laughed all the way there, and once we got there we went straight to his bedroom. I pulled out the instructions and started to read.

"Ok so I'm supposed to put the bleach in for 15 minutes on the tips of my hair, and you're supposed to have the black and blue in for 30 minutes." I said, he was changing shirts so that the hair dye didn't stain a shirt he liked.

He tossed one to me.

"Put this on, so you don't ruin your shirt," He said, I went into the bathroom and changed and came back.

"We need to do something so we don't get bored." I said as I plopped on his bed.

"Oh so I'm bored?" Eli said joking with me.

"Of course not!" I exclaimed I got up and hugged him, he went in for a kiss, but I swerved at him and he ended up kissing my cheek.

"What? Why?" He said pouting.

"We don't have much time, we have to start." I said giggling, I went to the bathroom. He chased after me, and caught me in a hug. He started to tickle me.

"Ahh stop," I said in between my laughter.

"Not until I get a kiss!" He said, I leaned up and kissed him, It was passionate, and I pulled away.

"There, now come on!" I exclaimed, he pouted, wanting to kiss more, but I told him after we finished we could cuddle so he behaved. I put on some 80's rock as we started. I sat on the toilet and put the bleach on the tips of my hair. Eli helped me with what I couldn't see.

"There we go." He said setting down the applicator brush.

"Eee now your turn." I exclaimed, getting up and making him sit. His hair was already blond so he didn't need bleach, so I put the black, and faded it into the blue. After I was done it was time to rinse my hair, so I put my hair into the tub, and Eli helped me get all of the bleach off.

"Wow the water is cold." He complained.

"Oh shut up! It has to be, it was on the instructions." I stated.

"Doesn't mean it's not cold." he muttered, making me laugh, I how he helped me, he was so gentled, and it was relaxing.

"Okay, done." He said. I leaned up and put my hair into an old towel. He pulled out a hair dryer, and I dried my hair in preparations for the dye.

"Thanks." He said as we put the blue color in my hair.

"For what?" I asked as we finished.

"Sticking by my side." He said.

He pulled me into a hug, and Was about to kiss me when the timer went off for him to rinse his hair out.

"Damn timer." He muttered, making me laugh.
