Johnny died from a fire, Dallas died because he couldn't handle the fact Johnny was gone, Ponyboy killed himself because of it, Soda went to war miserable and depressed but died about 2 weeks in, Darry couldn't cope and killed him self, Two-bit drunk himself to death, and Steve was all alone, regretting how he treated each and every one of them only because he simply didn't know how to tell them he loved them.
