Part Two.
——————————————————-
When Blair awoke, she was greeted by a pair of eyes in front of her. They looked beautiful, carrying that hazel color in them.

She couldn't help but blush, realizing he'd been staring while she was still asleep, dreaming about him and their future.

"How long have you been there, Chuck?" She asks, rubbing her eyes.

He held two cups of coffee in his hands. Chuck looked away and sat down on the chair. Blair had slept on the chair last night. She wondered how she awoke from the couch.

"What are you doing here, Blair?" He asked, dodging her question. She stood up and took the coffee from the table, taking a sip.

"I. . . I wanted to talk." She stuttered. His look was making her nervous for some reason. She did want to talk but she wanted to get ready first. She hoped they'd be in a restaurant or maybe even a cafe.

"I'll go change. I already took a shower so if you want, you can take one. I think you still have some of your clothes in my wardrobe." She felt a little embarrassed.

How was he so calm? They haven't had any proper interaction for months.

At least that was what she thought. Chuck was beyond nervous. He was shocked as to why he was greeted by the brunette who slept uncomfortably in the chair in front of him. But his heart also jumped out of joy when he was able to touch her face again.

He was thankful to have his fingers glide in her cheek. He'd never be able to forget the memory of her humming softly, responding to his touch.

Yesterday, he cried like a baby because Blair was dating the man he hated the most. But now she was in his shower, naked. What the hell was happening?

For a moment he thought he might be crazy. That it was all just an illusion and the effects of being depressed.

But it felt so real. She felt so real. And he wasn't going to complain because he'd been waiting for this to come.

"Where do you want to go?" He asked her when she was all ready, dressed in Dior.

"Anywhere is fine, really." Blair says. He could tell she was nervous. The way she acted was proof itself.

He figured going into her favorite place where she'd usually eat brunch would be a good choice for their "talk."

He had no idea why he sounded so cold to her. It just felt so sudden and he didn't know how to act or what to say. Now, it would be weird if his personality would convert into a soft one.

"Chuck. . . " She called to him when he stepped into the elevator.

"Blair."

"Are you mad?" She couldn't keep the question to herself anymore. She couldn't keep up with the cold aura.

"I'm not mad, I'm confused. And I'm hoping you went here to clarify things, Blair." He presses the button for the lobby as she stood back.

She only sighed. His reaction was valid. If Chuck would have abandoned her and date her enemy- like Jenny Humphrey, her reaction would definitely be worse than his. All she had to do was understand him as this was her fault anyway.

They ordered breakfast food minutes after their arrival. Blair had no appetite but she forced herself to swallow a slice of bacon down her throat.

"Chuck, I know you're mad. I understand because what I did was awful." She looked down at her food, still holding her fork and spoon.

"Then why did you do it?" His eyes were full of sadness, confusion and anger.

"Chuck, when you almost died because of me, my heart was completely broken. I felt so broken. I realized that if you really did die in the car accident, it would have been my fault because every time we're together, fate would just keep on finding a way to separate us. Dan was someone I wasn't afraid to lose. Losing him would have been more than bearable. The thought made me agree into a relationship but it was wrong. I don't love him, I love you." She let those 3 words, 8 letters roll out of her mouth easily.

Chuck stared at her as he observed the way she talked. He had become speechless. This woman was gonna be the death of him, really.

"Say something, Bass." She held her utensils tighter.

"You hurt me, Blair." Her chest tightened at his words. She'd really destroy him. She was sure the memory would live on her mind forever.

"I know."

"A lot." Chuck shook his head.

"I know." Blair sighed and looked down, ashamed. "Don't think I'm going to give up on you. You've fought harder than I did the last time we were in high school. I'm not gonna let you get away, Chuck."

She took another bite out of her bacon and chewed. He smiled at her. His dreams were slowly coming to life.

"I didn't think you would." He stood up and placed a hundred dollar bill in the table before he took her hand, leading them to the limo.

"Just drive around the block, Arthur." He instructed.

As soon as they got in, Chuck attacked her with a kiss. It was passionate and harsh. They hadn't tasted each other for months!

"Waldorf." He said in between kisses.

"Don't you dare leave me again." He looked her in the eye and told her like it was a command, not a request.

"I won't, Chuck." Her gaze had the same level of sincerity. How could she ever leave again when this man in front of her was the only man who had made her feel so free and herself. She loved him with all her heart.

No one was gonna run. They were done with the chasing. Now, they would just have to focus on each other and their future.

Blair smiled at the thought of forever with him. It would be so perfect to live the rest of her life with the man she loved most, and the best thing was, he loved her the exact same amount.

"I love you too, Blair."
