Train Station

"I'll be back in a few minutes, Chuck. Keep your eyes on our son, Bass or I'll murder you." Blair threatens, and glares at him seriously. Chuck nods at his wife and kisses her on the lips because even though her words scared him, she looked sexy as hell when mad.

"Be fast." Chuck sends his wife off as they wait inside the car. Chuck and Blair were in Paris at the moment, with little four year old Henry. They had decided to take a little vacation off work to spend time with their son who apparently has been missing his parents. Henry personally suggested they went to the 'high tower city,' which Chuck assumed was the Eiffel Tower.

Of course, the loving parents that they are, agreed to their son's wants. Blair worried they spoiled Henry too much but Chuck never cared about that. Even if he was spoiled, he was going to make sure his son was going to get everything he deserves and wishes for. Blair only laughed at his ridiculous words because even though her husband was the richest socialite in Manhattan, there are still things money cannot buy.

Chuck gets a little deja vu at the current place they were at. The train station where he and Blair saw each other six years ago were just across them, and he looks at it from the town car.

This place was and will always be special to him. This very place witnessed how Blair saved him from darkness. She was the light at the end of the tunnel for him. If it weren't for Blair, who knows where Chuck would be right now? Stuck in the dark, regretting things, probably.

Blair had always been his saving grace. Even when broken up, she was the only one who could make him feel sane.

"Do you wanna go there, bud? I wanna show you something." Chuck turns to his son, and smiles when he nods. "Let's go." Taking his small hand in his, he carries him as they cross the street.

"Daddy, what is this place?" Henry asks him, fascinated at the trains that passed by them. He had never seen a real train before. Sure, he had toys, but Blair wouldn't even let him see the subway.

"It's the train station, Hen. This place holds a lot of memories for me and your mother." Chuck smiles and looks around.

It was pretty much the same. Some signs were replaced with better ones, there were more lights, and the place looked very beautiful. More beautiful than before.

Chuck stood in front of the railings, Henry beside him. They both admired the view below as the trains started to move.

"Wow, Daddy, look! It's going so fast!" Henry says in awe, and gestures for Chuck to carry him for a clearer view. Chuck ruffles his hair and takes Henry in his arms, pointing to the train.

"Chuck?" Someone called, making him turn around. It was certainly not Blair. His eyes caught the figure of a blonde woman.

The woman who had known him as Henry Prince when they first met.

"Eva." Chuck smiles at her. She was bringing two huge bags, settling it down to pull him into a friendly hug.

She looked the same, or was her hair bleached now? Her eyes turn to Henry, and she's stunned at how they look so much alike.

"This is my son. Henry, meet Eva. Eva, Henry." The blonde waves at him, and the little boy smiles. "Henry, huh?" She teased, making Chuck nod with a grin on his face.

"His mother named him, actually." He says, and rubs his hand on his son's back when the four year old snuggles his head onto the crook of Chuck's neck.

He felt him yawn and Chuck whispered that it was okay for him to sleep. They had spent such a busy day today, mostly because of Blair and her shopping trips.

Henry and Chuck were asked to come, but she didn't really have to ask them as the two had always enjoyed being in her company, even if it meant carrying all of her heavy bags for her.

"What are you doing here?" Eva asks.

"Well, our car's parked across the street. We were waiting for Blair. She had to do some last minute shopping at Pierre Herme." Chuck responded.

"I'm happy for you, Chuck. You and Blair. I always knew you were going to end up with each other." She flashes him a genuine smile, one that he thanks her for. He notices the ring on her ring finger, making the corners of his lips rise.

"And I'm happy for you, too." She follows his eyes, which led to her hand. Eva's expression softens at the sight and the thought of her beloved Gabriel.

She had met him two years ago, and he had completely fallen in love with her, even with her background, the man accepted Eva. She fell in love with him, too. Real love.

She couldn't be more thankful, and looking back at her relationship with Chuck, she realized it was just one of the hard obstacles she had to go through in life in order to get what she really deserved.

"Mommy!" Henry yells, and Chuck turns to see if Blair was behind him. He smiles for the nth time tonight as Blair walks towards them, three bags of Macaroons in her hand.

"I thought you waited in the car." She says, taking Henry since he was getting so used to sleeping in her arms ever since he was out of his mother's womb.

"Oh, baby, you'll sleep comfortably in the car." She whispered, and kissed his head.

Her eyes turn to Chuck, and then to the woman who stood in front of them. Her mouth opens a little, but quickly replaces it with an amused expression.

"Hi, Eva." Blair says, and the blonde smiles in response. "I feel very nostalgic right now." She smirks as Chuck puts his arm around his wife's waist.

"I'm leaving for a trip with my husband. When's your flight back to New York?" Eva asks, and internally giggles when her phone chimes, seeing Gabriel's text message that he was coming.

"Tonight, actually. Where are you guys going? Maybe we can take you? We're taking the Bass jet." Eva shakes her head at Blair's offer. She was surprisingly nice to her, but only because Blair had felt a little guilty to what she did to her years ago. She didn't regret it, but still she didn't want to push the feeling away.

"It's okay, really. He'd already purchased the tickets so we're good. But, thank you." The blonde says, and greets her husband as he stands by her side.

"This is my husband, Gabriel. Honey, that's Chuck and his wife, Blair." She introduced, and all shook hands.

When it was time for them to leave, Blair immediately headed straight to their limo to put Henry to sleep. She kissed him goodnight even though his sweet slumber was probably going to be interrupted in thirty minutes or so.

"Are you okay?" Chuck asks her, and she smiles at him and nods. "I hope that encounter with Eva wasn't awkward. We just ran into each other."

"I'm actually kind of happy that we saw her. If I didn't know she was happily married with the Gabriel guy after all the scheming that I did, the guilt would probably never go away."

Chuck kisses her passionately. "I'm so proud of you, Blair. You shouldn't feel guilty. I'm sure what happened before was destined to happen. We all know Eva and I were never meant to be. I hate to say this but I did just bring her to my home to show you that I could be better without you. If anything, I should feel guilty."

Blair's heart softens at her husband's humble words. "I love you so much." She glides her hand on his cheek and brings her lips to his perfect jaw.

"We're meant to be. We're forever." She said, and he knew that it was true.

Ladies and gentlemen, our favorite Ev@ is back. I'm nice to her today so don't come at me. Noticed how I italicized the word 'friendly' when she and Chuck hugged? Yeah, I still hate her if you couldn't tell. I love love love reviews <3
