Most of that is due to negative feelings that pour out of humans. The damage of curses also involve evil acts of shamans. The only thing that can oppose a curse is another curse. Here we study curses to exorcise them. This is Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School." You and Yuta stared at Gojo with fright as he said those words. Is that why he mentioned you and Yuta's execution? Was it because Rika was a 'curse'? It's seriously held off, right?

"The two of them are here to study with the three of you. Also, [y/n], do you know how long your cursed technique lasts?" Just as Gojo asked, Rika appeared again, stretching a hand towards the three of the students who were still on defense.

"DON'T YOU DARE BULLY YUTAAAAAAAAAAA."

"Rika-chan! Wait!"

Rika was fast to act, her hands already attacking the girl, the boy, and the panda. With as much concentration as you can, you reached a hand to Yuta's shoulder, and after a while, Rika vanished again. This time, you tried to make the effect longer.

"Hmm..." Gojo looked at you in thought as you tried to stand still, your world spinning in a blur as every second passed by. You felt your arms grabbed and slumped against a shoulder, but you were too focused trying to stay awake as you opened your eyes only to close them tightly shut again.

"You're right. He is cursed. You get the idea. He was cursed by his beloved Rika-chan. Okkotsu Yuta, everyone! And here we have [l/n] [y/n], who seems to have passed out! She isn't cursed, but the report says she developed a special cursed technique that disables other people's cursed energy for a period of time with one touch of a finger. Please make them feel welcomed! If you attack Yuta, Rika may or may not go out. And we can't have [y/n] shaving all her energy away. So be careful!"

The three of the students who are now injured looked at their teacher with frowns, seeing that they were not informed about this beforehand. He really needs to practice giving his students the information they need.

"These guys are in their rebellious phase, so I'll just go ahead and give a quick!"

"Zenin Maki, a specialist in cursed weapons! She wields special armaments that can exorcise curses!"

"Inumaki Toge, a spell caster! his vocabulary only consists of onigiri ingredients, so good luck having a conversation with him!"

"I'm Panda. Pleased to meet you."

"And yeah, that's about it," Gojo concluded, making Yuta sweatdrop as he adjusted your arms slumped on his shoulders. 'He didn't explain the thing I most wanted him to!'

"So from here on out, we'll have 5 students in the first-year class. Just introduce yourselves to [y/n] later. Today, you'll have training by pairs! [y/n] might join in later if she can, but I'll take her to the infirmary in the meantime. Toge and Panda, Maki and Yuta."

"Ugh..." Maki responded with an irritated huff once she heard she was paired with Yuta. Frankly, she already wasn't feeling him. She just felt like they were complete opposites both as sorcerers and.

Gojo took you from Yuta's shoulders, then excused himself afterward to bring you back to Shoko.

"You were bullied, weren't you?" Maki asked Yuta as soon as Gojo went out of the room. Yuta stiffened in response, making the answer obvious.

"Bull's eye, huh. I get it, you know. Even I was bullied. Was it because of that curse? You put on this face as if to tell people 'I'm the good person. It makes me feel sick. Why are you pretending to be a victim even though that curse is protecting you? Even that girl earlier looked like she'd willingly give her life if it was for you. You've always just lived life listlessly, haven't you? Don't go thinking you can enter our school without a goal in mind."

Yuta was frozen. Her statements weren't exactly incorrect, though. Maybe the truth really just hurts. She was right. Yuta was always living life listlessly. The only thing he cared about was to be with Rika and keep the promise of love they vowed to each other on the day she died. But after that seemed impossible already, he just did his best to stay alive.

"Maki that's enough!" Panda scolded, placing a paw on Yuta's shoulder.

"Okaka!"

"Alright, alright. I'll shut up already." Maki said a huff of air in her words.

"Sorry about that... She thinks she's good at reading other people." Panda explained.

"...It's fine. Because it really is the truth."

"You're seriously frail... Maybe it's because you're sick and thin, but man, you should really work on that. We'll work on that here at school." Gojo was standing beside your bed as Ieiri checked on you.

"I advise not to let her use her technique for at least a week. You aren't a special grade control object in the first place. You should let him handle keeping his own curse controlled." Ieiri told you, replacing the fever patch on your forehead.

You could only open your eyes a little to look at the two of them trying to converse with you. The searing hot pain all throughout your body made it feel impossible to move at all, and you were sure that beyond your warm blanket, chills like the harsh winter were ready to attack you.

"Yeah, we'll work on this. I hope she can visit in the afternoon though. It'd be sad to miss the first day of class." Gojo was now heading outside to go back to his students and check on what they were doing.

"Well... That would be up to her. If she sleeps until then, the fever might go down. Can't you let her rest until tomorrow? Hm... actually, no. She needs to rest until tomorrow." Ieiri decided before leaving you on the bed to finally drift off to sleep, going to where Gojo was at the exit of the room.

"Alright. Doctor's orders! I'll visit her again tomorrow morning."
