knock, knock, knock.
You tapped your fisted hand loudly on the black metal gate, waiting patiently for it to open. The taximan was growing a little impatient, and you could see through his intensified tapping against the driving wheel.
"Are you sure there's no doorbell?" You asked Yuta, who only shook his head. "I didn't see one anywhere. Should we just call Gojo-sensei?" He took out his phone, ready to act as soon as you respond.
The two of you were growing worried by now. Although by peeking you saw that the backyard made a wide division between the main house and the gate where you knocked, you thought you've made enough ruckus to get their attention from inside the house.
"Why don't you try calling the number Sensei gave you? He said it was the mother's, didn't he?" His mouth rounded in realization before pressing numbers and placing the phone to his ear. "Put it on speaker." You told him, and before the other line answered, he placed it on speaker for you to hear.
"Hello, this is Yuta Okkotsu and [y/n] [l/n], and we're assuming this is Mamiko Aiuchi-san?" Yuta started cautiously.
Then, we heard a loud whisper from a child. "Psst! Mama! I accidentally answered the phone!" The tiny voice in a form of a loud whisper said, and it was followed by a loud gasp from the mother.
"Hello? Would you rather some Chrysanthemum or Cinnamon for tea time?" Finally, Mamiko Aiuchi asked.
"No, thank you. We'd rather some wine." You and Yuta responded, earning a sigh of relief from the other end of the call.
"Are you already outside? I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Eiko and I got a little too anxious about answering the door. We'll be outside in a jiffy." And with that, the call ended.

The sound of the gate creaking open alerted you and Yuta from your thoughts and made you stand up abruptly from sitting on the flowerbed.
"Papa, who are they?" The young girl, who we both assume is Emiko Aiuchi from the report, asked in her soft and tiny voice.
"They're here to be our heroes, Emi. I'm sorry, we were too anxious about who the people outside." The father, Eiko Auichi, bowed in apology and was followed by his wife who forced their daughter to bow as well.
"Ah! Please raise your heads! It's alright, we understand!" Yuta said, earning a very much prominent nod of confirmation from you. "We're glad that you're trying your best to be cautious." You added, and the family just smiled at the two of you.
"Shall we go?" You asked, opening the door to the back seats for them to enter. With that, they agreed, and the mother and daughter entered the car, while Yuta helped the father carry the things inside the cab's trunk.
You squished inside beside Emiko, sitting politely and quietly at the corner of the car. After they finished placing the things at the trunk, Yuta took the seat at the front beside the driver while Eiko sat beside his wife.
"Hey, onee-chan!" You heard Emiko's little voice whisper.
'Me?'
You looked at her for a moment, greeted by her wide and expectant purple eyes. She was small, her cheeks chubby with youth, and her periwinkle hair (just like her mother's) was cut perfectly straight right above her shoulders. Her eyes are what caught your attention though. It made you take a quick glance at her parents, but it seemed that although all her other features are surely an even distribution of her mother's and father's, her eyes did not match any of theirs.
