Like fiery knives words were thrown
Down ones throat such suffocating
Words that cause a gentle smile to
Fade words can cause scaring deep
Scars engraved deep into ones self
Words can carry someone up a
Mountain making them feel as
Through they can fly maybe even sore
Such a bright smile but then words can
Cause such a bright person to break
Words break down that barrier that
Protected ones self from the darkness but
When will you realize that even the
Brightest of happiest people are attracted
To the darkness the fact that the darkness
Comforts people creating a cocoon of
Comfort it's so easy to succumb to the pain
Hurt and hate your feeling but what scares
People the most is stepping into the light
You are your own person don't let such
Words cut you down don't envelope
Yourself with the negative emotions that
The world contaminants you with be you
And only you don't try to make other
People happy don't go to the darkness
