Lovers or liars

Chapter three

"Now do you remember?"  The guy in the driver's seat asks, causing me to snap out of my memory's and face him.

"...yes. I think"

He must have noticed me staring at the dashboard in horror for him to ask.

Is this guy really telling the truth? I mean, who saves someone and then ties them down so they can't move or escape??? He's totally lying to me!

I decide to confront him "Look mister. I know you say you 'saved me' but why the hell would you tie me down unless you didn't want me to escape? I mean it's super weird bro. I don't even know your name or who you are, yet you expect me to believe that you just saved me."

He must have realised how right I'd been as he turned his head slowly to face me. Darkness covered most of his face, but I managed to catch his aqua green eyes. They were...beautiful.

I can't be thinking he has nice eyes. He just kidnapped me for god's sake. I'm so stupid.

"Kai." He simply stated while turning back to the road after about 5 minutes.

Kai? What sort of answer is that? I did hear him right didn't I?

"My name" he again stated after another long two minutes.

Oooh that makes a lot more sense.

"Ok but...that didn't exactly answer my-"

I was cut off by Kai's obviously agitated voice
"You said you didn't know my name. So there. Now stop asking so many questions, you're making my head hurt" Kai snapped back.

"Oh, I'm really sorry for wanting to know why I'm in some strangers car, tied down to the seat. Honestly it's my bad" The sarcasm leaped off my tongue as I rolled my eyes.

"Tch" was kai's response. Well, it wasn't even a response it was just a noise.

Why is this guy being such a dick? I hate when people just decide not to answer my questions. I have a right to know!

Hang on. He will need to stop for gas sooner rather than later, I can just escape then. Simple enough isn't it.

"Look princess" Kai started. Shit, he must have seen that I was planning something.

Wait, did he just call me princess? I shake my head to stop asking stupid questions before he continues

"I know this looks worse than it is-"

"Yeh no shit Sherlock" I mocked rolling my eyes once again.

"If you're going to silently judge me when I don't answer your questions then don't interrupt me when I'm trying to explain!"

I dramatically turned my head away before he continues.

"As I was saying, it looks worse but trust me I just saved your life. I pushed you out the way of the gun then took you back to my car"

The guy who pushed me is him? My brain clouds while I try to process what he's telling me.

"I needed to strap you down because I could tell by the way you carry yourself that you fight. I don't exactly want to be attacked by you A-...uh...by the girl I just saved"

Did he just go to say my name? No that's impossible, he doesn't even know my name. I've never even met this guy before.
However, he was staring at me the whole time when I was shopping.

So I decided to ask "So... how come you were staring at me in the shops before any of that happened then?"

"If you see something attractive, you're bound to stare." Kai said without any hesitation

I could feel the heat rushing to my face. Oh, shit why am I blushing so much.

I turn my head away to make sure he doesn't notice my obvious pink face.

Earning a chuckle from the man sat next to me. Kai begins to take down his hood to reveal his face.
