I'm falling. The sky glistens above me as a single tear falls down my cheek. I'm ready to let go. To stop fighting.

As I look into the never-ending sky I start thinking back on my life. It was always so simple and  bland until I met Kai. No one really knows much about my personal life since I shut almost all of it away. I was mischievous, sure, but I was super smart in school. I 'hold a lot of talent' as my teachers would tell me. Too bad it led me to nothing in the end.

The pit in my stomach disappeared as I accepted my upcoming fate. I kept falling. Falling. Watching clouds, after clouds move slowly past my eyes. I almost got sick. Sick of waiting to hit the bottom and never open my eyes again, until a familiar voice screeches for my attention. My eyes shoot open with a burning desire to find the owner of the voice. It's been so long since I've seen him. I flick my head around, landing on a familiar face; a face I thought I'd never see again. Short cut light-brown hair with his beautiful brown and blue eyes. His left eye was brown with a line of blue whilst his right eye was matching the crystal blue in my own eyes. He looks exactly how I remember him.

I was snapped out of my gaze when he screamed for me again, this time sounding extremely distressed, "Ash! Help me! pl-please!" He yelled in-between cries.

He was falling just as fast as I was, if not faster. Suddenly my desire to survive had came back to me. I tried gliding across the open air to just wrap my arms around him one more time, just to feel his protecting touch. But, I couldn't move.

"L-Levi!" I cried.

He locked his eyes with mine, giving me one last moment with him. Then, I watched as he fell further away from me, closer to the ground. He didn't take his eyes away from mine.

I screamed, kicking and punching the air. Trying anything to stop this from happening. I can't lose him...not again.

Levi's body reaches the ground and something blank takes over my vision. Pressure being held against my shoulders. Air rushes out of my lungs as I let go of the breath I didn't know I was holding. My eyes open and my body begins to shake. Understanding what just happened.

 It was a dream.

Kai is sat in front of me, holding my shoulders and staring at me with furrowed eyes.

"Ash? Hey Ash! Are you okay! Wake up damnit!"

I look at him whilst I pull myself together. "Huh? O-oh. Uh Y-yeah"

"Don't lie. You were screaming in your sleep. What just happened?" Kai asked sternly.

"I- Look it's nothing alright!" I yell as I start to wipe away the tears on my face.

"Clearly" he said, rolling his eyes.

After I didn't respond, Kai took another chance to talk to me. "Look. I know you don't trust me or whatever. But that wasn't normal. A-are you okay? I mean, you were literally kicking and screaming in your sleep. You can talk to me you know...I'm not just 'a bad guy'."

"It's nothing."

I looked up into Kai's eyes and was surprised to see hurt. I don't understand why he is shocked that I don't want to open up to him. He did kidnap me after all. Some part of me really wants to just tell Kai what's going on but I have spent so much time blocking out my hurt, I couldn't just open it all back up for someone I barely know.

Kai dropped his head and slowly pulled his hands away from my shoulders. He headed towards the bathroom before stopping to speak. "I'm taking a shower. Just do whatever you want."
