Chapter 7

{Luke's POV}
I can't believe that just happened. Did I really just get kissed by the boy of my dreams? I pinched myself real quick just to make sure. "Ouch!" I quietly said to myself. I walked out of the room and tried to act like nothing had happened...which with the boys, is impossible. "Ooo! What happened in there!?" Ashton asked. "Muke! Muke! Muke! Muke!" Calum quietly chanted. Michael was downstairs I guessed because I didn't see him anywhere up here. "No guys...nothing happened." I said as my face turned red and I had to walk away to hide the lovesick grin on my face as the scene replayed itself over and over in my head. "Wow." I whispered as I walked down the stairs. But you know, being the clutz I am, I tripped on the bottom steps. Michael rushed up to me and helped me up. When we interlocked hands I blushed. As soon as I was up I quickly removed my hand from his. "Thanks..." I muttered as I rushed into the living room. A few seconds later he sat beside me. "Hi, um, I just wanted to say that...I don't want things to be weird or akward between us...ok?" He whispered, so quietly I almost couldn't hear him. I look at his face only to find him staring at his hands and fiddling with his shirt sleeve. "Oh, yeah me too...ok..." I answered. His face lit up in response. "Ok!" He beamed as he walked into the kitchen. I don't want things to be akward in between us, but it's hard not to be awkward knowing that he loves me...I should stop. It's just a crush. Nothing more. He came back moments later with a sandwich in his hands. "Want half?" He asked. "Sure!" I answered as I held my hand out. He placed a slice in my hand and I took a bite. Mmmmm my favorite! "Thanks!" I muffled, with my mouth full. "Don't talk with your mouth full!" Michael said. I almost laughed, but I didn't want to choke, so I held it in. Just then the boys walked into the room. "Oooooo! MUUUUUUUKE!" They all shouted. "GUYS STOP!" I yelled. Their faces dropped. "Ok" they all said in unison. "Soooo what do you guys wanna do? We can do something fun cuz we don't have any concerts this week!" Ashton said. "I don't wanna do anything today...it's Friday, let's relax." Calum said. "Ya..." We all agreed. So we just sat on the couch and watched Tv until we eventually fell asleep. I was the last one awake and didn't want to fall asleep with the tv on all night. So I turned it off and stared at all the boys sleeping on the couch...I definitely don't wanna sleep on it with them. So I stood up and took a quick glance at Michael. "Aw he's so cute when he sleeps...if only I could just give him a quick kiss on the forehe- no...I just told him that I liked him...things are already kind of awkward. I don't want to rush anything anyway, maybe I'll ask him out in a few months..." I told myself. I quietly and clumsily walked upstairs to my room and plopped onto my bed, rolling myself in the blankets like a burrito and fell asleep in a matter of seconds.
