Chapter 42

*Jaina P.O.V*

*Next day*

"I'M DRIVING!" I scream running towards the car almost tripping. Nyla was running after me trying to get to the car first she was far behind me though and Luke was following behind us. Michael, Kenzee, Ashton, Calum, and Nya all went in Kenzee's car and had already left. When i finally reached the car i swung the door open and jumped in. I locked the car door and stuck my tongue out at Nyla. She flips me off as she walks to the back seeing as she can't sit in the front since Luke sat there.

"Why would you do thatttttt?" She whines

"Because i can." I put the keys in the ignition and start the car. I drive out of the driveway. Out of the corner of my eye I see Luke pick up my phone.

"What are you doing?" I ask in confusion.

"Can i put the music on shuffle i'm sick of the radio?" He answers well asks.

"Yeah sure."

"What's your password?"

"1234"

"Oh wow" He laughs and i roll my eyes. He types in my password and soon I hear the music come. The first song to come is 'Up All Night' by One Direction.

"Really?" He questions me.

"Oh shut up ok"

"Yet your wearing a Blink shirt." He laughs. I groan in annoyance and keep my eyes on the road. I hear him start singing and of course Nyla is also singing along because she's a huge fan.

"Luke I thought you were so punk rock and didn't listen to One Direction." I say sarcastically. He rolls his eyes and keeps singing. The rest of the drive consists of us all screaming lyrics at the top of our lungs and making stupid jokes. When we pull up to the hospital I see the huge smile on Luke's face go into a frown and he tenses up a little.

"W-why am i here?" He asks with fear obvious in his voice. I Park as Nyla says "We took you here because they have video of Michael apologizing."

"Please please no I don't want to go in. No no please." He pleads covering his eyes with his hands and shaking his head.

"C'mon Lukey we all hate seeing you sad like this you. You no longer have that happy look in your eyes like you used to." I say

"I'm happy. I'm happy. I promise." He says in an unsure voice.

"Luke we all know your unhappy. If you don't want to do this can you at least do it for us?" Nyla asks. I turn to look Luke straight in the eyes.

"Please Luke."

"I guess" he sighs. We all climb out of the car and head into the hospital. Michael, Kenzee, Ash, Cal, and Nya are all waiting at the front desk. Luke goes to turn around at the sight of Michael but i grab his arm and turn him back around before he can walk out.

"I don't want to see him!" He whisper yelled. Michael slowly walks over to me and Luke. Nyla went with the others who are still trying to find the footage. Luke gives me pleading eyes telling me to get him out of there.

"Luke please listen to me." Michael says in a calm voice.

"NO GET AWAY FROM ME!"Luke yells making people look our way.

"Luke calm down." Michael tells him.

"STOP STOP STOP GET AWAY FROM ME!" He yells creating a scene making people stare. I see Ash look our way and i motion for him to come over.

*Ashton's P.O.V*

I walk away from where everyone was trying to find the footage.

"Is everything ok?" I ask. Jaina drags me from Michael and Luke.

"Can you please talk to Luke? I got Mikey." She asks.

"Yeah sure. But no hi or hey" I laugh a little at the reference i made. She rolls her eyes and says

"Not the time weirdo." I pull her into a hug and kiss her forehead. She walks after Michael and I walk after Luke after breaking the hug. I grab Luke's wrist and take him into the parking lot. I look at him and he had tears in his eyes.

"Luke what's wrong? I seen the tweet but never actually heard the full story." I question him.

"Me and Michael broke up." He answers.

"Yeah got that part. But why?"

"We..um got into a really big fight and he kind of ignored me and i-i.." He let out a choked sob before continuing "tried saying sorry b-but he wouldn't listen. He basically said he hated me Ash. I ruined his life and i ruined my own. its making it harder by us living In the same house. What should I do Ash? Because I have no clue." He looks at the ground then back at me with sad and tear filled eyes.

"I don't know Luke. I truly don't know. All I can tell you is he doesn't hate you and he loves you with all his heart."

"No he doesn't. Don't lie to me." I sigh at his response. He made himself believe Michael doesn't love him anymore. The wind blows creating a chill making him shiver and me stuff my hands in my pockets. I see Jaina walk out of the doors and motion for us to come. I start walking as Luke follows behind me sniffling. When we get inside I follow Jaina to where everyone was watching the footage. While watching I subconsciously Wrap my arms around Jaina's waist and lean my head on her shoulder. That is until she jumped and said "Guys did you just see that!"

"See what?" Everyone asks pretty much in unison.

"Rewind please." She says to the front desk lady. Which the girl does. Still nothing.

"Oh my gosh! I just seen something!" Kenzee jumps up and says.

"Was it like a white ghostly figure or something?! And was it only their for a second?!" Jaina asks Kenzee.

"Yes and yes!!"

"Did anyone else see anything ?" I ask. Everyone shakes their head. As I look around I didn't see Luke. That is until I turned and saw him sitting on the floor with his hands over his ears and his eyes close. I walk over and sit by him. He looks at me for a second then close his eyes again. I try to take his hands off of his ears but he just yells at me to leave him alone. I see Kenzee start to walk over but I wave my hand in dismissal telling her I'll handle it. I hear Luke mumble something but all i make out of it is 'better off' and 'world' I have an idea but I want to make sure.

"What was that Luke?" I ask him

"Nothing" He answered

"C'mon I know somethings up."

"Don't tell anyone not even Kenzee. If i tell you."

"I promise I won't tell a soul."

"I can't do this anymore."

"Do what?"

"Live."

SORRY ITS UP SO LATE NYA WAS OVER YESTERDAY AND WE WERE HANGING OUT AND WHEN SHE LEFT I WROTE THE CHAPTER WHILE WATCHING A YOUNOW AND THEN I GOT A HUGE HEADACHE THEN TODAY NYA NYLA AND KENZEE WERE OVER SOOO IM SORRY! Anyways cliffhanger and the next part is already planned out we basically planned out this week and next so don't be surprised when something BIG happens! Ok bye see you next thursday!! - Jaina
