Chapter 39

~time warp- One week since luke came home~

Calum's pov

It's been a week since Luke came home. Ever since that day Nya has been crying. What Luke did traumatized her. She doesn't leave my room, only to go to the bathroom or she's hungry. Right now she's asleep on my chest. It hurts to see her like this, She's the one who has advice and answers. Without her they don't know who to run to. Damit it even hurts me. I could always come to her if I'm down. She never let her emotions shine through. But when she lets her gaurd down, every tear and sniffle was the many times she wanted to cry but chose not to. I want to do something for her. No. I need to do something for her. I grab my phone and text Jaina.

Cal: Hey, I want to do something for Nya. Any ideas?
Jaina: hmmmm........ I got an idea but if you want to complete before she wakes up might want to get down here so we can do it.
Cal: Alright let me just throw on some vans and make sure Nya is comfortable in my bed. be down in 5.

I carefully maneuver myself so that she's cuddling the giant teddy bear I got her 2 years ago. She was snoring softly. I through on my vans and walk downstairs.
"Luke, how's the cereal?" Jaina asks Luke.
"It's ok, but it's just cereal. ooohhh"
"Ok I do not need the sass at this hour."
They were sat at the table laughing.
I walk into the room.
"Ready?" I ask grabbing a banana and patting Luke on the shoulder.
"Yep lets go".
"Where you two going?"
"Shhh don't tell anyone. but we are going to get stuff to cheer Nya up."
"Ok"

And like that the conversation ended.
We walked to the car and get in.

"Ok so where are we going?"
"Well Calum we need to go get her some flowers. Because for one thing she loves them."
"So to the flower shop it is."

I drive to the closest flower shop there is. And just to my luck there are paps here.
" just great they are going to see us and Nya will see the gifts." Said Jaina as she pouted and crossed her arms.
"Well there are not a lot of them so that's ok I guess?"
"Ugh fine but make sure they don't think we are dating."
"Okie dokie smokie."
"THATS WHERE SHE GOT THAT FROM!!"
"Why are you yelling and yes she got it from me jelly much."

She just rolls her eyes at me twice.
We get out of the car and walk into the shop.
There were so many flowers there it was mesmerizing.

"Can I help out this lovely couple" said a lady who worked there.
"Oh no m'am we are not dating, we are to find some flowers for my best friend, his girlfrie-"
"Soulmate." I corrected her.
"Sorry soulmate."
"Ah I see what does this soulmate of yours like my dear boy."
"She loves roses and how they can be in different colors and she's always wanted Galaxy themed roses."
"Oh she sounds like such an interesting young lady. And your just in luck. Here take these. Free of charge because a young boy like you had found a girl who you consider your soulmate. I hope you make her happy. have a nice day."

And with that she scurried off to help another customer. Jaina and I stood there quite astound as she had just given us these beautiful flowers.
"Wow" I whispered.
"Wow indeed, well let's get going times a wasting."
And with that we walked out the store, got into the car and drove off.

After running to the store to get what we needed to make chicken Alfredo, Almost getting into a fight for a pikachu jacket, and nearly dieing because old dudes who love the guitar are pretty sensitive of how someone holds their guitars -I needed a new acoustic anyways-; we had finally made it home. I looked at the clock it only said 3:00. I was amazed that it took us 2 hours just to get all this stuff.
I walked in holding all the bags and was surprised to see Nya downstairs on the couch watching sponge bob with Luke asleep on her shoulder.
She may have not brushed out her hair yet but she still looked beautiful to me. I rush upstairs and drop the gifts and the guitar off in my room. then I change into something that I won't mine when I get dirty and head downstairs.

~three hours later~
"It shouldn't take three hours to cook this." Jaina whisper yelled at me.
"Well it's not my fault you had to change your shirt 3 times and I had to wait for you."
"Oh shut up."
"Ok just go tell Nya to come downstairs and then go head out to your house."
"Ok, but save me some."
I gave her hug and she walked off to get Nya. The table was set elegantly with the flowers in the middle and my new guitar perfectly tuned off to the side.

I was nervous.
What happens if she doesn't like it?
Will she even smile?
Was it worth it?
Yes yes it was.
Dang as Michael said I am whipped.

Nya snapped me out of my thoughts she looked beautiful -even thought she had on one of my tees, jeans and some vans on- .
"M'lady." I say as I pull out her chair. She looked so shocked.
Was it good or bad?
"You know I can hear you right? And wow Cal you did all this. OMG Galaxy themed roses. How did you find these?"
"Do I really? And no you can thank your best friend Jaina for helping set this up. and let's just say soulmate."
"Wow, you did all this for me? Why?"
"Well I wanted to make you happy so what better way then to make you your favorite meal and buy you flowers and gifts. D..do you like it?"
"Like it.... no I love it. thank you so much cal I love this you're my soulmate you big idiot."
" And you're my soulmate as well babe."

After dinner I played her therapy and remembering Sunday on the guitar and we watched finding nemo. This was perfect, she was perfect. she fell asleep on my shoulder. And for the first time in a week I saw that beautiful smile as I carried her up to my bed and held her close as I drifted off to sleep.
