Chapter 5

When Emma got back to the apartment she ran into Killian on his way out.

"Hello love, have you made a decision about that tour yet?"

Emma felt bad for not answering him yet but she still wasn't sure. She wanted to be there for just Henry, but Killian was making it hard to say no. His hair and his eyes were just worth starting at for ages. Finally she came to a conclusion. She would go, but just that once.

"Yes I have. I will go with you but just this once."

"Perfect! I'll pick you up at 6?"

"Sure!"

Emma stared at him all the way out. She couldn't help it! He was handsome, kind, and from what she could tell he was a gentleman. It was everything she looked for in a guy. As soon as he walked out of the door she snapped out of it. You can't think like this Emma! You are here for Henry and Henry only! Tonight is a one-time thing!

2 HOURS LATER

Emma was frantically running around her room trying to get ready for her night with Killian. She was really nervous and it took her an hour to pick an outfit at the store. She finally settled on a strapless light pink and white dress with a sweetheart neckline that came down to around her knees with a jean jacket that made it look less formal. Then she got home and put on some makeup and put her hair into a high ponytail with a ribbon tied around it.

As soon as she finished she heard a knock at the door. She looked in the mirror on last time before calmly walking over to the door. She opened it and they stared at each other until Killian finally spoke.

"You look stunning, love."

"You don't look to bad either"

"Shall we get going?"

"Sure!"

They walked side by side around the streets of Storybrooke while Killian explained everything. There was particular spot that Emma found peculiar. The clock tower, as Killian explained, hasn't changed time for as long as he could remember. Oh well she thought. It's probably just broken.

They walked for about 2 hours before they were both starving. They ended up going to Granny's for dinner. They both ordered a slice of lasagna.

"So," Killian said "How do you like Storybrooke so far?"

"I like it a lot. I actually kind of want to stay longer than a couple of days so I can spend more time with Henry."

"Really!?" Said Killian trying his best to hide his excitement.

"Yeah. He is so nice and I really want to get to know him better."

They finished their meals and Killian walked Emma home.

"I had a really nice time tonight." she said as they reached her door.

"Me too!" Killian said "We should do this again sometime."

"I think so too!"

"Goodnight Emma."

"Goodnight Killian"

He gave her a small kiss on her cheek and walked away.
