Forbidden Love ~ a CaptainSwan Story

Chapter 4

Emma was walking towards her room when she was pulled aside. She was scared at first. The person turned her towards him and she laughed a little. It was just Henry!

"I'm going to tell you something really important and you have to keep it a secret." said Henry very seriously.

"What is it?"

"Follow me."

Henry started running and Emma had no choice but to follow him. They were running for a while before they reached a little play castle near the ocean. Emma smiled at the boy's interest in the castle. She could tell his imagination was full of great ideas. Then Henry pulled out a story book. It was brown and on the front it said Once Upon A Time. It was pretty big too, at least twice the size of Henry's head. He opened the book and flipped through the pages wondering what to read. Finally he stopped on a story about Snow White and Prince Charming.

"Once upon a time..." he started.

Emma watched his expressions as he read. He has so many different expressions on his face that it was like he was the characters in the story. As he finished the story he looked up at her waiting for her to speak.

"That was really good!" She said.

"Thanks!" He said with excitement.

"That didn't sound like the typical Snow White story though."

"I know. It's different, but there's a catch."

"Now what is that?"

"Well you might think I'm crazy for saying this..."

"C'mon it can't be that crazy."

"Okay, well all of the people in this town are different from the rest of the world. They are all in this book, even you."

"Really." Emma said, not convinced.

"I know you don't believe me now, but it's true." He said desperately.

"I believe you. Who am I?"

"You are Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter. They sent you through a magic wardrobe when you were little because the evil queen cast a curse on the Enchanted Forest!"

"Why would she do that?!"

"To ruin Snow White and Prince Charming's happiness! Well, mostly Snow White's."

"Then why was I sent through the wardrobe?"

"You're the savior. The prophecy says that on your 28th birthday you will come to Storybrooke to break the curse."

"The savior huh?"

"Yep that's you!"

Henry looked down at his watch and looked up at Emma with wide eyes.

"I have to go!" He exclaimed. "My mom told me I have to be home by 4 and I have 5 minutes to get home!"

"I'll drive!"

"Thank you so much!"

They arrived just in time. Henry ran upstairs and grabbed a book and started reading right as him mom pulled in the driveway. Emma had left because she didn't want Regina to see that Henry was almost late.
