Chapter 6

Emma couldn't stop thinking about her night with Killian last night. Even when she was with Henry walking to the bus this morning, she couldn't fully focus. She hoped that Henry didn't notice that.

She went back to her apparent hoping that she might run into Killian again, but she had no luck. She stayed in her apartment for a while until she heard a knock at the door. She wasn't expecting anyone, so she was a little cautious when she opened the door. She opened the door really slowly peeking outside and then saw Regina. She smiled and let her in. However, Regina didn't look happy. In fact she looked very upset.

"Hello Regina!" Said Emma ignoring the angry look on her face.

"Hello Miss Swan. you are probably wondering why I am here."

"Well yes, but I don't mind-"

"I have a problem Miss Swan." sad Regina firmly as she cut off Emma.

"What is that?" Emma was starting to get nervous about what she was going to say.

After a long pause Regina spoke, "I don't want you to see Henry anymore.

"You can't do that! He's my son too!" Exclaimed Emma taken back by Regina's request.

"You gave up that right when you put him up for adoption 10 years ago."

Emma was too shocked to speak. Was she really trying to take Henry away from her?

"You need to leave town."

"You can't be doing this to me!"

"I just did." and then she walked towards towards Emma's door.

"What if I don't leave?"

Regina stopped dead in her tracks and turned back around. "I will make sure Henry hates you to the point of no forgiveness."

"Fine, I'll go. but you have to promise me that Henry will be completely safe here."

"Come on Miss Swan, what kind of monster do you really think I am? Of course he will be safe here!" And with that she walked out of the door.

Emma just stood there looking at the door. She had so much fun with Henry an Killian over the last few days! Killian! What was she going to say to Killian?

4 HOURS LATER

Emma walked up to Henry after he got back from school.

"Hey kid I have to talk to you."

"Okay." He could hear the shakiness in her voice and it made him nervous.

"I have to leave town."

"What why?!"

"I just have to okay?"

"It's the evil queen isn't it?"

"Who?"

"My mom, she's the evil queen in my book!"

"Henry that is not true!"

"Yes it is! She doesn't even love me!"

"Of course she does Henry, she's your mom!"

"No! You are my mom!"

"I'm sorry Henry, but I have to go. I don't have a choice."

Before Henry could say anything else Emma walked away. She couldn't stand that Henry thought Regina was evil and that she didn't love him. Of course she loved him, she's his mom.

When Emma got back to her apartment, she had someone waiting for her at her door. Someone that she was hoping she wouldn't have to see for a while.
