A Mission Which Changed Everything

Ilsa woke up with nothing but Ethan's arms wrapped around her, she laid next to him and smiled to herself. Softly, she kissed Ethan's head and quietly walked into the kitchen to make a surprise breakfast for him. All she could think about was last night.

Ethan finally woke up, walked into the kitchen and paused in awe. He looked at the table and saw red roses, freshly brewed coffee, vanilla scented candles and a delicious cooked breakfast. His eyes lit up as he spotted Ilsa walk into the room. Ethan ran over to her and kissed her good morning. Everything was perfect. Her eyes glued to his. This was the happiest Ethan had ever been. After they both ate the amazing breakfast that Ilsa had prepared, they headed out to go to an important meeting with Benji and Luther.

In the meeting they had been told by the IMF that they have an important mission to complete. So they all headed back to Ethan's apartment to get mission ready. Luther got the car ready, Benji grabbed his gadgets, Ilsa changed into her biker leathers and Ethan well Ethan is always ready. They left Ethan's apartment looking like the ultimate dream team.

Once they arrived at the location, Ilsa and Ethan grabbed their guns and motorcycles then got ready for the mission of their life. Luther and Benji stayed in the car to track Ethan and Ilsa's location. They were on the final part of the mission when Benji noticed Ilsa's location had been the same for more than 10 minutes so asked Ethan to check it out. Ethan rode his motorcycle faster than he had ever ridden it before. Once he got to Ilsa's location he saw her laid on the floor in distance, he jumped from his motorcycle and ran to her fragile body. She had been wounded badly, tears filled Ethan's eyes as he grabbed her in his arms and told her everything would be okay. Holding back the tears, Ethan managed to tell Benji and Luther what had happened, they look at each other in worry. Ethan just sat on the floor with Ilsa until backup arrived. The IMF sent another team of agents to complete the mission while Benji, Luther and Ethan took Ilsa to get help. By the time they got her to a hospital she was unconscious, Ethan was shouting her name repeatedly in panic but there was no response. Ilsa looked so peaceful yet so pale, Ethan lifted her into his scared arms and ran into the hospital shouting at the top of his lungs for help. A nurse hurried over and took Ilsa into a room where Ethan was told to wait outside. Hour after hour, minute after minute Ethan waited and waited....

A few hours later

A nurse walked out of the room where Ilsa was, Ethan jumped up from his seat and ran over repeatedly saying "can I see her yet?" Slowly, the nurse looked at Ethan and told him he needed to sit down. He took a large gulp and sat next to the nurse. The nurse sadly said "I'm so sorry we took Ilsa into surgery and she had many complications and she passed away while having surgery, I am so so sorry" Ethan's knees fell to the ground, his heart sunk from his chest, and tears streamed from his eyes. His eyes red from crying, looked at the nurse and screamed "NO NO THIS CANNOT BE TRUE" Ethan trembled into the room where Ilsa was lying, he walked over to her pale body, locked his hands with hers and kissed her lips one last time. He then fell to the ground covered in devastation.

Once Benji and Luther heard the horrific news, their eyes filled up with mountains of tears and they just looked at each other in disbelief. They dragged Ethan out of the hospital and back into the car where they could look after him. All Ethan could think about was the night before. As soon as Ethan locked eyes with her in Paris he knew that she was the one, everything was perfect when he was with her and now all of that is gone.
