Spoilers ahead if you haven't played or seen the second game. They areAged up by a bit in the oneshot

Y/N Pov

You were a strange person that didn't get very affected by anything, you were almost emotionless to lots of things, you simply didn't feel surprised when the whole pale city went to chaos

The signal that happened had all kinds of citizens slaves to the TV's, you called them the viewers, their faces were horribly twisted and sunk in from staring at the screens for such a long period of time, as long as the precious TV they were watching wasn't interrupted or disturbed they wouldn't cause any harm

You however were not even affected by the signal tower, it did nothing to you at all. Any type of powers just had no affect on you, of course that doesn't mean that monsters don't go after you, they still actively try to catch you, remembering you found that out the hard way

Shaking away all of your jumbled thoughts you went back to your objective which was to look for a new area or home to live in for a bit, the one you were currently in had been taken over by some viewers, how? You had no clue, all you remember was waking up to a bunch of loud noises, when you investigated you notice a TV that was out of place

So in conclusion you had to search yet again for a new place, you pulled yourself up and out of your old houses bedroom window, you could only hold a small bag that consisted of some clothes a bit of water and a bunch of snacks of all sorts

Huffing you slipped out of the window and gazed around the area taking a few steps out you yelped in shock slipping down from the rainy weather falling down the roof and onto the harsh floor, landing harshly you coughed up a liquid of some sort, you deeply hoped it wasn't blood

You couldn't move yet all you could do was whimper in pain and maybe twitch a few fingers, mustering up some strength you sat up and slowly dragged your hand up towards your head feeling around for any damage

You took in a shaky breath trying to stand back up coughing again in more pain, you wiped away the liquid looking at your hand and noticing it was deep red blood you knew that this wasn't good... how could you have been so stupid? To not pay attention to your own footing

You stayed there sitting, still in pain it felt like your insides were burning in pain, slowly you leaned back down and started to drift into unconsciousness with everything fading into darkness

Yelping in pain you woke up when your hand bumped into a wall of some sort.. a wall? You slowly mustered up strength opening your eyes up, everything was hazy and blurry all you knew was that you were moving.. actually being carried you noted that there were arms wrapped around your waist and neck carrying you bridal style

You tried to open your mouth and speak but your voice and throat was scratchy and dry, you could still feel your little bag though slowly you tapped a finger on the persons shoulder

They looked down and your eyes finally cleared being able to see you saw who you assumed was a boy stare down at you with a paper bag over his head and makeshift eye holes, he shifted you in his arms and set you down on a nearby sofa that he found

He laid you down carefully, you stared up at him in shock you hadn't seen a person around your age in well.. ages no pun intended, he hesitantly lifted his paper bag up and off of his head, now seeing his face you hid your blush of surprise, he was very handsome

He stared down at you "how are you not affected by the signal tower?" You pointed to your bag and he opened it looking shocked, finally he handed you some of your water, you quickly grasped it touching your fingers against his for a bare second, you opened the water and gulped it down quickly feeling it soothe your throat

You hesitantly tried to speak "I don't know... ive always been unaffected by things like that.." your voice came out slightly scratchy sounding he looked at you in curiosity "okay than.. how are you feeling?" You laughed even though it hurt "Like absolute shit" he winced "well I wrapped your stomach up, it was bleeding." You nodded at him gratefully

"What are you doing here anyway? Ive never seen you before?" You asked quietly not wanting him to get upset or feel like you were being rude he answered quickly "I just arrived here from the sea" you decided to not pry at him about it

He leaned towards you and placed a hand against your forehead you blushed at the closeness even you could see a slight pinkness dusted across his cheeks "your temperature is doing better, you should be okay to walk just not running or anything.."

You sighed and thought back to your plan of finding a new place to live in, you rubbed your eyes with one hand feeling a bit stressed "do you want to... maybe stick with me?" He asked you nervously "yes." You said without any form of waiting, you were sick of being alone

"Well that was quick..? Okay we should probably get a move on and start heading to a different area tommorow morning" you nodded and scooted over on the couch for him to lay down if he needed to

He stepped closer and laid down right next to you, blushing you moved onto your side which only made it worse, you could feel his breath against your neck, eventually you fell asleep after a bit of calming down

Waking up the next morning you could feel his arms wrapped around your waist hugging you to him and your legs tangled together. You felt safe for once Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
