The Price You Pay (mono x reader)

Y/N pov

Sighing I lifted my head up glancing over towards my two best friends watching as they smiled and chatted with eachother, noticing my form waking up mono looked over his shoulder and waved with a bright smile "y/n come over and join us!"

I rubbed behind my neck feeling slightly awkward for some reason as I started to walk up to them slowly, yawning and stretching my arms above my head I smiled at mono and six "what are you guys up to?"

"We were just discussing something.." six responded glancing at mono who nodded his head staying silent, I raised my eyebrow at the both of them in confusion "okay..?" My head started to ache slightly as I winced holding onto my shirt and looking down

"Well ill just go try to sleep again I guess." Waving I went back to my comfortable spot quickly, peering over I watched as they resumed their conversation immediately both laughing at whatever it was they were talking about

My throat started to feel scratchy when I gazed at mono smiling at six as he patted her shoulder with his warm facial expression, frowning I looked away quickly feeling my heart ache from the scene

I closed my eyes and let myself succumb to sleep before I could overthink anymore.

Waking up I looked around for mono or six panicking when neither of them were in sight

They..
Didn't..
Leave me right..?

I sighed in relief when I spotted a piece of paper with some writing, leaning over I picked it up reading over the words

'Y/n we went to get food be back soon!'

I furrowed my eyebrows seeing as they both just left without even bothering to wake me up... it wasn't exactly safe around here.

They arrived back to our homestead about an hour later bringing some food and trinkets.

Sighing I sat up observing how they were interacting 'have they always been that close..?'

Furrowing my eyebrows I felt my throat tingle has I felt a strong urge to cough, pulling my hands up to my face feeling liquid trickle down my chin as I glanced down at my hands spotting dark red blood surrounding a lone white flower petal.
