--No-one's Pov--

As Billie laid on her side she stared at the nearly empty bottle of vodka on the nightstand, the lingering burn in her throat coming to a stop. After slamming the door in Ronan's face and then Sandy's, she went back to doing the only thing that kept the voices away.

She didn't want to be around anyone, though she should have expected the alphas to come around. It didn't help much since she rudely shooed them off.

She was surprised that neither of them tried to bring her mom into this, well more than she's already been. It was loneliness she was seeking and she was close to getting it, even if that meant shutting the pack out. Shutting her family out.

Her arm stretched out as she sat up, reaching to grip the neck of the bottle and bringing it to her lips, taking in that familiar burn as the remaining bit of vodka slid down her throat. Rolling her eyes at the now empty bottle she let it fall from her hands and onto the floor, surprised it didn't shatter on impact.

She staggered as she stood and walked out of the room, making sure to keep her hand on the wall to balance herself as she made it into the kitchen in the search for more alcohol. She growled when she didn't find any in the fridge or freezer.

"No wonder you've gone apeshit, you're a fucking drunk."

She turned her head to the voice, seeing Tara leaning against the back of the couch, looking at her. "What's it to you?"

"Nothing. Just didn't peg you as an alcohol drinker."

Billie shook her head, stumbling against the island and reaching out to balance herself against it. "If I wanna drink away my sorrow, fucking let me. How did you even find me?"

"Well, when you disappear and then a mysterious animal starts to attack people you kinda put two and two together." Tara said as she walked forward to the island, staring at Billie as she shook her head again. She looked at her hair, what once had green roots was now dyed pitch black.

Billie scoffed, walking around the island and to the main sitting area. "Are you gonna tell me what the fuck you're doing here or are you just gonna criticize me?"

"I'm here to check on you. Emilia asked-"

"I don't wanna hear that bitch's name again." Billie growled, turning to face Tara with yellow eyes.

"She's worried about you, Billie. We all are."

"I don't want your fucking pity or concern," Billie said as she walked up to the vampire, eyes still glowing as she snarled, "now leave."

Tara smacked Billie across the face, so hard it made her head turn in that direction. There was dead silence between them as Billie turned her head to look at her.

"Stop being a bad dog and get your shit together Billie." Tara said as she began to walk away only to be grabbed by Billie. They struggled against each other, ending up on the floor as Tara fought her off, failing as Billie pinned her wrists against the floor, her strength being no match for the vampire.

"Was it the bad dog part? Do you not like being called a dog?" Tara teased as she moved her wrists under Billie's grip, trying to break free. She heard the snarl Billie let out, staring up into the still glowing eyes. She laughed, "well isn't this an interesting predicament? Kinda hot, not gonna lie."

With that Billie growled, leaning down to roughly capture Tara's lips with her own, only to be pushed away by the vampire. They stared at each other for a moment until Tara spoke.

"Fuck it." She pulled Billie back down to connect their lips, feeling her hands grip roughly at her hips.

In a matter of minutes, clothes were removed, thrown every which way across the room and Billie was in between Tara's legs, hips slamming into hers.
