" Look, the Scout Regiment!"

"It's Commander Erwin and Captain Levi!"

" This time, don't bother bringing back a limb or two."

" Be safe out there Commander Erwin!"

Everyone was gathered around at Trost District for the Scout Regiments departure for their next expedition. Phoebe was also gathered in the crowd with her friends to see the departure themselves.

This wasn't the first time Phoebe was seeing this. When she was young, Phoebe would sometimes go to Shiganshina to see the Scout Regiment take off, but this time it was different. She didn't have Roland with her this time.

" The Scout Regiment is so cool Phoebe. You have to join me."

" You'd died at the sight of a titan Roland. The Audacity is not a good look on you. You shouldn't join the Regiment."

" -Tsk- And you would make it?"

"-Who said anything about me joining the scouts."

Phoebe scanned the scouts that rode their horses. Some of them waved back at the crowd, others would just look forward to continuing on their expedition.

I wish you the best of luck, Phoebe thought to herself. " Wow! I can't believe we'll be there one day waving off the people. Literally, one day" Eren exclaimed.

Armin laughed and says, " I wouldn't say the same thing, but it would definitely be up there,"

" Feel how excited everybody is? It's like the crowd just has a different energy now." Well, we are going on five years without incident." A voice from the back says. Phoebe turns around to see Hannah and Franz. " Seems like a good omen."

" And you should check out all the cannon upgrades. The sight alone oughta be enough to scare 'em off." Franz speaks. Of course, they were a couple. How cute.

" That's the truth." Hannah agrees.

" You in denial 'cause you're a couple? What's that about?" Eren asked the two. Phoebe couldn't help but chuckle for embarrassing the couple.

" Whoa whoa whoa! This isn't what it looks like! Okay?" Franz only blankly stares due to the embarrassment and Hannah turns away only keeping her hand shaking forward.

"Knock it off, man! It's embarrassing!" Franz covers his mouth by using his arm. Armin continues to laugh and Eren only angrily growls. The moment was interrupted by a new voice that said, "Hey hey, lookie here!"

Phoebe looks over her shoulder so see a buzzed cut man with the Garrison Regiment insignia written on his cropped jacket, followed by another person. Eren and Armin move forward to the man, " Mr. Hannes!"

" Word on the streets they let you graduate yesterday. Either you've grown up or standards have plummeted." Mr. Hannes says. This man and Eren seemed to have known each other before going to the training corps. Phoebe's guess was that he's patrolled around the walls in Shiganshina before.

" Oh yeah, like you're one to talk. The Corps of Engineers keeps their new chief in the drinks?" Eren commented. " Watch it." Hannes flicks Eren on the forehead. Hannes looks over to Phoebe and notices that she was new. " And who might this lady be?"

" Phoebe. Phoebe Lang." Phoebe introduced herself short and simple. Hannes expressions lightened up and asked, " Lang? Like Lorenzo Lang?" Phoebe only chuckles and replies back, " Yup! The one and only. "
