"Get up, you lazy arse!" Was the greeting I woke up to today. I groaned, swatting him away from me and rolling on my side to face away from him, covering my face with the pillow.
"Go away, Malik," I said groggily. "Don't you have classes to get to?"
"Don't you?" He countered.
"Ughh..er..urgh.." I mumbled, too tired to form proper words. "mmm...not..till..afternooohh.."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you'd had a lot of fun last night," He teased, smirking at me.
I sighed, sitting up from the extra bed in his room. You see, ever since that night in October, Zayn had offered the extra bed in his room to sleep in. His dorm has one bunk bed and one queen-sized bed. Up to three people can stay in it, but Zayn only has one roommate, so one of the bunks weren't being used. It has now been a few weeks since I found out what my ex-roommate/"friend" had done to me, and things still aren't great between us. I've temporarily moved in with Zayn, while Jamie is doing God knows what.
"Ew, gross, no," I scoffed. "If I got back together with that douchebag, I would've told you." Two weeks ago, I told Zayn about the Jamie and Ethan situation. He's been such an amazing friend to me and helped me out so much. So far, my stay at Casa De Malik is being kept secret; not even Zayn's roommate, Stephen knows. I haven't seen or talked to him since the day I ran into him, so I don't know if he still thinks I hooked up with Zayn, but frankly, I don't want to be in contact with him ever again.
He laughed at my reaction. "I was just kidding, Jesus. So, what were you up to last night? Better yet, what have you been doing every night for the past three, almost four weeks?" I rose an eyebrow questioningly. I wasn't too sure if I wanted him to know. The truth was, after that Halloween festival, Louis and I have started spending more time together. At first, it was a bit awkward, considering the twelve years in which we hadn't spoken to each other, but the more we texted and talked, the more comfortable I'd become around him. Slowly but surely, it felt like we'd never been separated in the first place. Such a short amount of time to be saying that, but it's true. He told me so much about what his life had been like in England that I felt lilke I was there with him, and vice versa. But, no one else really knew just how close he and I had become in just a few weeks. We hung out every night, like the good old days, and I'd never felt more happy. Things were finally going good... except for, you know, the Jamie and Ethan thing and the Stephen thing... Okay, I'll shut up now.
"None of your business," I shrugged nonchalantly.
"You're not doing anything illegal, are you?" He asked worriedly. " 'Cos if you are, I need to know. It would not be fun sharing a room with a criminal."
"Oh yeah, totally, Zayn," I replied saracstically. "I've gone full-on Hannah Montana. I live a secret double life, but instead of being a famous popstar like her, I'm a wanted felon who slaughters innocent people on a daily basis. You caught me. I guess my cover's been blown, damn it."
"I knew it!" he joked. My phone vibrated from where I left it to charge last night. I moved at a rapid speed to get it before Zayn could. He eyed me suspiciously as I read the text.

Good morning, Wenny the Pooh :) x
That was a nickname he came up with a few days ago. I must admit it was pretty clever, but it was annoying how that was the only thing he seemed to call me now.

"Are you sure you don't have a new boytoy that I'm unaware of?" Zayn asked, interrupting my text-conversation with Louis. I sent him a quick text saying that I'll see him later, then stuffed my phone in my purse.
"And are you sure you don't have some secret love for Nicki Minaj that I don't know about?" I retorted, "Because that's probably the tenth song reference you've made this week."
"I was not referencing Nicki!" he said defensively. "Ugh, don't cahnge the subject. I know it's a boy you're texting. So, who's the lucky bloke?"
"I swear to God, It's not a boy, okay?" He just rolls his eyes in a 'oh, please' kind of way but I ignore it. "There's just a lot of family stuff going on righT now. It's very personal and I'd rather not share any of it with you this early in the morning."
He opened his mouth to speak but stopped himself when seeing what time it was. "I have to go to class!" He realized, "But don't think this conversation is over, missy." And the he turned and started sprinting down the hall.

"Guess who?" A voice asked, hands covering my face.
"Ethan?" I guessed.
"No, I'm not your jerk of an ex-boyfriend. Pretty unfortunate, isn't it, Wendy?" Louis removed his big hands from my eyes, and sat down in the chair across from me. I'd told him that we had broken up, but didn't tell him why yet. I was afraid that if I told him my roommate slept with him, he'd try to beat Ethan up... and I'm not so sure how good that would turn out.
"Yes, very unfortunate," I mock-sighed. "But I guess you'll have to do for now," I teased. "Lewis."
"Wenny the Pooh."
"Lewwwissssss."
"WENNY.THE.F*CKING.POOH."
People were giving us nasty looks for being so loud and disturbing the poetry that was being read. Along with the open mic for singers on Saturdays, there was also poetry readings once a week. I was never a big fan of poetry, and Louis and I usually ignored the poems. I sometimes even forget that the poets were there at all.
"Okay, we'll leave," Louis shhed them. "C'mon, Wendy. We don't need those losers anyway."
"Besides, there's this place that I've wanted to show you for a while now," I took his hand in mine.
"Lead the way, then, Wenny!"
"Uh, Wendy?" He laughed nervously when he saw me take off the scarf that was around my neck and start to wrap it around his eyes like a blindfold. "I had no idea you were so kinky."
"Shut up," I said. "I just want this place to be a surprise!"
He smirked,"Please, I think we both know what you really want to do with me blindfolded like this. No need to lie."
"Louis!" I scolded, my cheeks turning a deep shade of crimson.
He chuckled. "Alright, alright, let's go to this mysterious place."
