It was my 18th birthday, finally, and I was getting ready to head out with some friends. I'd celebrated with the guys yesterday but today was reserved for my non-idol friends.
I'd been thoroughly warned by the company to make sure I didn't do anything silly tonight, as no doubt, the press would find out I was heading out and come to try and get some scoop out of me. For once though, I actually didn't care and just wanted to enjoy my birthday like a regular teenager.
As I was finishing up my makeup I glanced at my phone to see the girls group chat lighting up. We were all super excited for tonight, I hadn't had a night out with my high school friends in so long, being so busy with my hectic schedule.
My best friend since we were kids, Kang Dae, was texting to tell me she was outside. Swiping on a bit of lipstick, I slung my bag over my shoulder and dashed out the door.
"Enjoy!" Namjoon's voice rang after me I as slid into the passenger seat of her Range Rover.
"I still can't believe you live here." She laughed as we pulled out of the drive of our apartment, "I still can't believe my best friend is a world famous idol."
I laughed heartily, ruffling my hands through my hair, "Aren't you lucky?"
It took Dae about ten minutes to swing round to the houses of our other two friends, Mi-Hi and Nari. Each wished me a happy birthday, as did Dae and we sang our way towards the club.
Dae had promised she wasn't drinking tonight and that she'd drive. But as soon as her foot stepped in the door of the club she had a drink in her hand. Taxi home for us.
We danced and drank and sang for hours, just enjoying our time together. Sometimes I really missed moments like this, especially when I grabbed hands with my friends and jumped around with them. In the dark of the club I was protected from prying eyes, and it was a good thing I was. The alcohol was going straight to my head and I was giggling like a little girl.
"HANA!" Mi-Hi yelled as a new song started, grabbing my face in her hands and squishing it, "THAT'S YOUR SONG!"
And she was right, Fake Love had started playing. Immediately I squealed like a fangirl, my drunken friends laughing at me, "Move! Out of my way!" I shoved my way through the crowds and to the dance floor, performing the dance flawlessly. Well, in my head it was flawless, really I was stumbling around the floor, laughing like a maniac.
"Wow." Nari clapped, giggling as I returned to then.
"Wonderful." Dae complimented. I leaned forward placing my head against all of theirs. We were all really drunk, I could smell the lingering scent of alcohol, "This is really fun." I hiccupped, "But do you know what would be more fun?" I grinned, "SHOTS!"
"It's on us." I turned to see the owner of the husky voice. Four guys stood behind us, holding a tray of eight shots, "That was some performance you gave out there Hana." He smiled.
"How do you know my name?" I slurred, booping him on the nose.
"You're in BTS, right?"
"Oh yeah." I laughed like it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard, "I forgot about that."
"So ladies?" He looked round at us, "Shots?"
We each took one and clinked the little glasses together, cheering as we did. I spent most of the night with the stranger. He was kind and seem genuinely interested in me.
"Wait!" I placed a hand on his arm after an hour of talking, "What is your name, mystery man? I still do not know it."
My other three friends had slinked off with his, having their own fun.
