It was late, pushing two in the morning, but I had a lot of studying to do. I was drowning in school work, having pushed it off for a week, busy being an idol. That left me pretty isolated in my room this weekend, only appearing from my cave to eat.
I pinched the bridge of my nose, after getting another math question wrong. I really should have been paying attention in my catch up classes. Deciding rest might help, I closed over my book, collapsing back onto my bed and curling under the covers.
I woke up lazily, rubbing my sleepy eyes. In confusion, I looked around at my empty room. It had strangely reverted to the way it was before I had moved in. Just a plain bedspread, none of my pictures or wall art up. Nothing in the room was mine. Knowing it was the guys pranking me I groaned, rolling out of bed. I was really not in the mood for this.
"Jin-Oppa!" I grumbled, seeing his back in the kitchen.
"Yah!" He spun round, pointing his spatula at me like it was a weapon, "Who are you? How'd you get in? Jimin-ah! Call the police!"
"What are you talking about?" I laughed.
"Jin-Hyung," Joon appeared by my side, "Woah, who's the lady friend?"
"Are you out of your mind?" I raised an eyebrow at him. They were really going out of their way to keep this prank up.
"Namjoon, get away from her," Jin beckoned Joon towards him, "I have no idea who this is. I think she broke in."
"Come on now, that's not funny." I frowned, "It's me. Hana."
Namjoon stepped back from me, joining Jin's side, "Kid, I get it if you're a fan, but this is too far."
"You know it's me." I gestured down to myself, "You only ever call me Kid."
"Jimin-ah! Tell me you've got the cops." Jin shouted past me.
"Oppa, seriously, stop it. You're scaring me now." I stepped forward, the two immediately taking a step back from me.
"We're scaring you? You're the crazy person that broke into our house-Taehyung!" Jin immediately pulled the younger guy towards him.
"Tae?" My eyes went wide, "Tell me you know who I am."
Taehyung was a terrible liar, so if they were trying to prank me, Tae would be the one to give it up, "Sorry," He shrugged, "Am I supposed to?"
His face didn't falter, he was telling the truth. My face fell, "It's me, Hana. I'm your little sister? Maknae?"
"Seriously, Kid. That is enough." Namjoon spoke.
"No, listen to me. How could you forget me?" My lip quivered, "I've performed all over the world with you guys. We've laughed and cried and loved together. Come on, it's me."
"We don't know a Hana."
I shot up straight, my room in complete darkness. Beads of sweat stuck my curls to my forehead, and I was breathless. I ran my hands through my hair, trying to control my shaking frame. I glanced around my room, it looked normal, all my pictures where they should be.
Quickly I jumped up, I had to make sure. I ran across the hallway, bursting into JK's room.
"Hana?" He squinted as the light of the hallway woke him up, "What the hell are you doing?"
"You know me? Tell me you know me?" I stood in the doorway, frantic.
"Of course I know you." He flopped back down on his bed, sleepy, "What is wrong with you? Waking me up to ask me crazy questions like that."
He closed his eyes again.
"I...I had a nightmare." I bit the inside of my lip.
Jungkook's eyes opened again at my words, he propped himself up a little bit, his hair sticking up haphazardly, "Come on," He flipped back the covers, gesturing for me to get in.
I dashed towards his bed, nestling under the covers again.
"You want to talk about it?" He asked after I had made myself comfortable.
"Not really." I whispered, shutting my eyes softly, "Thank you."
I didn't want to go back to my own room tonight, so I was thankful Jungkook had let me stay. He wrapped an arm behind the back of my head, a reassurance that he was there if I needed him.
"Promise you won't tell the rest of the guys about this." I asked quietly, knowing how embarrassed I would be if they found out I had a nightmare. It seemed so childish.
"Promise." He answered, matching my volume, "You know we'd never forget you right?" He questioned, obviously putting the pieces together about what my outburst was about.
"I know." I sighed, snuggling into the covers.
"Good." Was the quiet reply, "Go back to sleep now."
And I did. It was the best sleep I'd had all week. But surprisingly enough when morning came, I still remembered the nightmare. And to this day it is the only one I have ever remembered.
I guess some fears are too prominent to forget.
A/N: This is a little bit shorter than some of the other chapters and I know I've written about Hana's nightmares before but I wanted to write about the first one ever and how that went down. I'm quite happy with how this chapter turned out, so let me know what you think. As a side note, I'm not a Blink, but Rosé's solo 'On The Ground' comes out tomorrow and I'm very excited about it, the teaser sounded so good. Anyways, see you next time!
