Percabeth meets mortals

Hi! My name is Cassie Jones. I go to Goode High school. I am not popular, but I wouldn't be described as one of the nerdy nerds either. I get good grades, and the lowest grade I have ever gotten is B- which is on Greek. That is normal though, all of my friends get bad grades in Greek except one. Percy Jackson. He is fluent in Greek since his dad was Greek.

Percy has this mesmerizing black hair and amazing sea green eyes that look like the ocean. You could get lost in them for days. He is super fit but not in a gross way, and is on the swim team. Yup! you guessed it. I have a huge crush on Percy Jackson. He is my best friend and I think he might like me back. He says he has a girlfriend, but nobody believes him since we haven't seen him. We think it is an excuse to get rid of all the girls who hit on him.

Right now me, Percy, Nina and James were walking to gym class. Percy is really good at this class. There are swords in the gym and I remember how Coach had said that we will be doing sword fighting this week. Percy grinned and took a seat beside me.

"Okay class! Today we have a person from a camp in long island coming to teach us sword fighting. Annabeth Chase!" said coach, and a beautiful blond grey eyed girl stepped out holding a dagger.

"Okay, I'm Annabeth and I am going to teach you sword fighting. Don't underestimate me because I am a girl" she said. "Percy get your lazy but up here and help me demonstrate" she said.

Percy? How did she know Percy? Were they friends? Percy is dead, I thought.

Percy grinned and grabbed a sword from the rack stepping in front of Annabeth. "You are going down Wise Girl" he said. Wise Girl?

"Bring it Seaweed brain" she replied. Seaweed Brain? What kind of name is that. Who calls a hottie Seaweed Brain?

"Have you sparred before Percy?" asked Coach

"A few times" said Percy

"Okay, ready set spar!" said coach.

Annabeth swung her dagger at him and he blocked it swiftly. I was impressed, I never knew he was so good. There was clashing at they moved lightning fast like they had been doing this forever. After a few minutes, Percy disarmed her and pointed her dagger and sword at her throat.

"Do you yield?" he asked.

Annabeth smiled. "You wish" she said and jumped up using the sword as a lever, flipping over and landing behind him. She pinned him to the ground, and pointed her dagger and sword at his face.

"Where did you learn that!" whined Percy

"Five years more training than you Perce" she said, and dropped his sword triumphantly.

A second later, Percy Grabbed his sword and pointed it at her. "Never turn you back on your opponent until they yield" he said.

Annabeth groaned and lunged at him. Percy fought back and used a swift disarming move and caught her dagger. He pinned her against the wall pointing his sword on her neck and her dagger against her head.

"Okay! I yield" she said, and Percy grinned removing the weapons and tossing her the dagger. She caught it, and put it in her little sheath giving him a kiss on the lips. What? I will confront him about this after class.

"Okay! Great job, only sparred a few times Jackson? Anyway we have a few more kids coming from this camp. " said the coach and four teens walked in.

"Beauty queen, Sparky, Lord Tinker, Pine cone face? What are you doing here. "Are the others here too?" Others? He knew these people? Sparky?.

"No, they are at camp kelp head." said the punk girl who wore black. Percy nodded. Kelp head? These were weird nicknames.

"Anyway, you will pick a partner and you guys will fight. They will come help you in between"

"Why Percy?" asked a kid from beside me

"Because Percy goes to the same camp" replied the teacher, and I paired up with Nina. Camp? They were all from the camp for ADHD and dyslexic kids that Percy went to?

The rest of gym class went by fine, and we sparred a bit. Nobody was as good as the teens though. After class, I saw Percy talking to his friends and I walked to him.

"Percy" I said, tapping his shoulder.

He turned around and smiled. "Hey Cassie. Meet my friends. This is Beauty queen, Sparky, Lord Tinker, Pine cone face, and This is my Wise Girl, my girlfriend" said Percy

"Use their names!" said Annabeth, elbowing him in the stomach. How could she elbow him, I would never hurt him. I would be a much better girlfriend.

"Right" said Percy. "This is Piper, Jason, Leo and Thalia" said Percy, pointing at them again. "and this is my girlfriend Annabeth"

I nodded. Then I couldn't hold it in anymore. "Why are you with her?" I yelled pointing to Annabeth. "You should be with me!"

"Cassie!" he said raising his voice a bit. "What the heck! I love Annabeth, and you are just my friend!"

I stomped and turned on my heel walking away. He is saying this because Annabelle is there, I told myself. I'll approach him when his is alone.

Later that day I found Percy and pulled him aside.

"Listen Percy" I said. "Annabeth the blondie isn't here so you don't have to lie. Who do you like?"

"I like-"

"Her or me. I am so much better and I would never hurt you so choose one" I said

"I choose Annabeth" he said

"I knew you would- wait WHAT?"

" I love her Cassie" he snapped. "So please leave me alone" he said and marched away.

The next week, Annabeth enrolled into Goode, and Percy and her became the cutest couple. My friends herd about what I did, and started ignoring me. All my chances I had with Percy got ruined since I yelled at the blond bimbo. (I have nothing against blondes!)That is how I met Percabeth. And I hate them!
