"Tonight's a new episode of American Horror Story!"
"So what? It's not bad missing one episode Violet."
"I wouldn't be a true fan would I?" I said crossing my arms across my chest.
"One episode?! Really?! It's not like you're gonna die relax."
"But be for real Syndir. You can't seriously make me go."
"Oh come on Violet! You have to go with me!"
"Why can't we just go to the mall like you said we would?"
"That was just an excuse to let you go out with me."
"I don't even like clubs. You know that!"
How could someone like those kinds of things?! People dancing (grinding) on each other... Drunk pervs... Big sweaty crowds... I can't even think about that without grossing out. Yes i've never smoked or drank before and i'm a virgin, but I still don't want any part with clubs and bars.
"But maybe just this one time please?!"
"Syndir..." I whined.
Now she was giving me a pouting face and I didn't want to turn her down. Those faces don't get to me but besides that... I'm definitely not letting her go to some abandoned club in the middle of nowhere. So I put my head in my hands and sighed.
"Fine..." I groaned hearing Syndir squeal and talk about our outfits for tonight.
When Syndir told me that we weren't actually going to the mall, I knew it wasn't gonna be good. She kept on talking about how the previous owners of the building couldn't afford the bar they owned so they packed up and left. That's when Austin and some other kids decided to turn it into a hangout for teens. So tonight the schools going there for some girls birthday party. I can't wait...
After another few more minutes of Syndir talking about tonight, it was time to get to our next period and honestly I was excited because it was at around this time that I had bumped into Calum. Maybe at the right time in the right moment... Saying my fare wells to Syndir, I headed towards my locker counting the minutes until I had to walk towards the bathroom.
"Hey you!" I heard someone shout from behind me. I stopped my actions and curiously peeked behind my shoulder to find some girl pointing directly at me. I raised an eyebrow forgetting about my mission.
"Y-yes?" I stuttered feeling nervous. No one has ever talked to me before in school... My focus was back on the girl and I noticed her close her locker across from mine and walk towards me. I studied her closely and saw that she really wasn't trouble. She seemed to be a nice person with her nerdy looking glasses, casual outfit, and pretty wavy hair.
"I don't wanna come out so straight forward cause I don't know you but... Were you the uh... Girl who got bullied in this exact spot?" She asked cautiously pushing her glasses up her nose in the process. Maybe she was afraid of my reaction?...
"Uh... Yeah I was..." I answered feeling embarrassed and looking down at the ground.
"Well I just wanna say that you really d-didn't deserve that. No body does... No matter the cause. And when you stood up to her, t-that was courageous."
I looked up at her with wide eyes and a forming smile. She thought I was courageous?... Me?
"Really? Uh t-thanks a lot." I smiled sincerely.
"Anytime." She smiles back.
"Uh my- the name's Violet. What's your name?" I asked extending my hand for her to receive. Hopefully.
"Oh Nicole." She grabbed my hand and shakes it giggling. Did I just make a new friend?
