"Violet!!"
I heard my mom calling me down stairs and literally it was getting annoying. She's called me at least 20 times and I still haven't fully woken up. Doesn't she understand that if I don't answer her the first time I'm not getting up at all?
All I could do was groan and put my pillow above my head which obviously doesn't work.
"Violet if you don't wake up now I won't take you to school so you'll have to walk!"
I immediately opened my eyes and sat up wiping the sleep of my eyes. I hate walking to school during Summer time. I get there all sweaty and stuff. Ew.... Making another type of groaning sound I finally got myself to wake up and walk over to my bathroom. I quickly used the loo, brushed my teeth, showered, got dressed and did my make-up in under 40 minutes. Wow. That's pretty impressive for someone like me. Trust me. If you knew how slow and lazy I was, you'd be impressed.
Checking my reflection in the mirror one last time, I sprayed some perfume my best friend Syndir gave me for Christmas. I'm totally addicted to it! It's just so good!
I grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs heading to the kitchen. I noticed my mom wasn't here and I raised my eyebrow.
"Mom!?" I called out. She usually waits for me in here... Hmm... All of a sudden I hear the car honk from outside making me jump a little. She's already in the car when I still haven't eaten breakfast yet!? What!? I just sigh and walk outside to the car. I enter the car and glare at her.
"What?" She gives me a confused smile.
"What do you mean what!? I still haven't had breakfast yet! That's what! I'm hungry!"
"Well you should've thought of that before NOT setting up your alarm last night right?"
"Hey it's not my fault I got caught up reading. Isn't that what most parents want from there kid? To read?"
"Yeah read educating books. Not your type of romantic teen books."
"There good ok? No not good. Amazing! You should really give one a try."
"Sorry sweetie. To busy with work."
"Like always..." I murmured to myself hoping she didn't hear me.
It's kind of boring being an only child. I don't have any one to talk to about my dreams and wishes. Just my maltese Sharkey. He's like a brother to me at least...
Finally after a silent 5 minute drive to school I got out saying goodbye to my mom just hoping that today wouldn't be as miserable as yesterday. I walked towards the door praying that I wouldn't bump into Austin Miller. I really wasn't in the mood for his crap today.
