Chapter2: The Massacre of the Ruby Palace

Athanasia was very satisfied with her little chat with the emperor. She got the answers she needed and she was more ready for what was going to happen in her little game.

Athanasia had made it too the Ruby Palace and was met with a crying Ces, a angry Hannah and a very worried Lily.

Once the three maids had saw there dear little princess, they quickly ran over to her and tackled her into a hug.

"ATHY!!" The three maids shouted.

Athanasia giggles as tge weman hugged her.
"A-Athy. Y-you were *sniff* taking so long!" Ces cried out. Hannah nods.
"We thought that man had done something to you. You scared us" Hannah said with a sad face.

Athanasia frowns. She didn't mean to make the only people in her life that cared for her feel this way.
"Im sorry. I had to conform somthing and needed that man to give me some answers."

Athanasia said as she hugged the weman tight.
"How about we go inside. I need to explain aw few things to all of you" Athanasia said as she leads the weman in the palace.

Athanasia brought the maids to her room.

"So what did you want to explain Athy?" Ces asked. Athanasia just smiled.

But it didn't seem like the normal smile. It felt . . . wrong to see Athanasia smile in such a way. But the maids didn't say anything of it.

"I want you all to stay in here until you hear a bell ring." Athanasia pulled her hair back and tied it into a ponytail.

"No matter what. You do not open the door. Not until you hear the bell." Athanasia said in a strict tone. They have never heard Athanasia speak in that tone so all they did was nod.

Athanasia smiled.
"I know you all won't disappoint." Athanasia said. Those words sent shivers down their spine.

Athanasia opened the door and closed it behind her and locked the door. Athanasia's lips formed a sinister girn as a sword appeared in her hand.

'Kill. Kill them all!'

The voices in her head shouted. Athanasia saw a group of maids coming her way.

Athanasia slowly walked to them.
They didn't even notice her as they just passed by her. Not even bowing.

Suddenly the maid that was leading the group stopped.
"Huh? Laura what's wrong?" Another maid asked.

The maid named Laura had her eyes wide open. Without warning Larua's head fell off her body and blood splattered everywhere.

Athanasia stood there he back facing the group of maids. She smirked as she heard the maids scream in horror.

Athanasia turned to them with a grin.
Athanasia walked to the maids. The group of maids noticed Athanasia coming there way with a sword that was covered in blood.

They didn't have time to react as Athanasia cut down two other maids. As Athanasia cut them down she had a crazed look on her face.

The maids look at her in shock and terror.
Athanasia cut down three more and more screaming echoed.

'Kill them'

'Make them cry in pain.'

Athanasia thought of the times when the servants treated her like dirt.

Athanasia slashed a maids neck. But not too deep. She wanted them all to bleed out and slowly die.

'You all deserve to die and burn in hell!!'

A maid trips down and looked up to Athanasia.
"P-please your highness. Spare me!" The woman shouted as tears came down her face while bowing.

Athanasia scoffed and looked down to the maid in disgust.
"Heh. None of you addressed me as that. But now that your life is at stake you suck up to me like a dog. Disgusting." not even a second she slit the woman's throat.

Athanasia looked down to her dress and see that there was blood all over it.
Athanasia saw someone at the corner of her eye, she could feel the adrenaline kicking in as she ran after the maid who was running from her.

But Athanasia was way more faster then the maid. Athanasia tackled the maid down and step on thr woman on her back.

"Guahh!!" The woman shouted in pain. Athanasia chuckled as she stabed the woman multiple times.

Athanasia's smile became more evil with each stab.

Athanasia was panting as her eyes glowed in a dangerous way as she went looking for more servants that have done her worng.

Meanwhile with the three woman who had heard the screaming.

Hannah tensed up.
Ces just shook in fear.

Lily just looked over to the door in shock.
More scraming was heard and Hannah was getting fed up and decided to try and open the door.

But it wouldn't budg.
"Hannah. Stop it. Athy specifically told us not to come out until we hear the bell."
Lily sternly stated. But her voice was shaking a little.

"But- what if Athy is the one getting hurt and-"

"Trust me. She is not the one getting hurt" Lily said as she sat on the bed. Lily has noticed how Athanasia has been acting. It was as if she was slowly being taken over by somthing. And that somthing was dark.

A few more minutes of screams of help and then it went silent.

The bell was then heard.

The three woman were hasten at first. But they decided that they must go.

Lily opened the door. Her eyes widen in horror at tge sight of blood and bodys scattered in the hallways.

Hannah and Ces hold each other's arms as they look at the blood and bodys.

Lily frowns as she took a deep breath. The bell was head again.
"It's coming from the guest room." Lily said as she desperately tried to ignore all the blood and bodys.

Ces and Hannah cought up to Lily who was walking fast to the gust room.

The three rushed to where they heard the bell. Lily opened the door and saw Athanasia blood all over her hair and face and dress.

Athanasia was holding a young child in her arms.
Athanasia looked up to the three with empty eyes.
"I took on the job to punish the evil. You must get used to the sight of blood or dead body." Athanasia said as she looked back to the young child in her arms.

Athanasia brushed off the hair of the young child's face.
"What an interesting little thing you are."

Word of what had happened in the Ruby Palace went around like wild fire.
The once Banished Princess
Became the new Tyrant of the kingdom.
