I chuckled and muttered "drama queen," under my breath. Hades and Hermes heard me and smirked chuckling at it. I flashed out of the throne room and went to see a certain blacksmith about a few things.

Percy's POV

I flashed in front of a door and took a deep breath before knocking. I held a bouquet of flowers in my hand and waited taking deep breaths attempting to ignore my pounding heart. The door open except I didn't see anyone.

"I'm down here stupid," exclaimed the voice of my dear sister Sally Blofis. I chuckle and kneel down to her level hiding the flowers behind my back.

"Hey, kiddo sorry. I didn't know you were opening the door. Where's Paul?"

"Dad's in the bathroom. Come in Percy," Sally said with a grin on her face. I smiled and entered before putting the flowers on the table. I took one rose out and handed it to Sally, picking her up and kissing her forehead.

"Happy birthday sis. I love you." She grinned before hugging me back and giggling.

"Thank you, Percy! I love you too!" I smiled and sat down on the sofa with her as I waited for Paul to get out. Sally was born a few days before mom died, while I was in Greece. I didn't know about it until I visited my apartment after becoming a god. I still remember the day vividly.

**Flashback**

I took a deep breath as I stood in front of my old apartment. My home. For so long it was where mom and I lived. I drew a shaky breath as tears started to form in my eyes again. I wiped them away and knocked wondering if Paul was home. The door opened revealing an exhausted-looking Paul. All signs of fatigue were gone however as a giant grin that split his face appeared.

"Percy!" he yelled. "How are you? Come in come in, please. It's been a while. Let me get a good look at you." He ushered me in and sat me on the sofa before disappearing to the kitchen. I didn't know how to tell him that his wife died. And that it was my fault. I took another shaky breath and quickly wiped my tears away as I heard his footsteps get louder and louder. Paul reappeared with a jar full of blue cookies under his arm.

"Sally's not home at the moment. but have a cookie while you wait," he grinned. I couldn't bear it anymore.

"S-sit down Paul. T-there's a lot to t-tell you." Tears started to form in my eyes and I put my head down not wanting Paul to see it. Paul was confused but he sat down on a chair across from me

"What happened? And why don't you wait until Sally gets home? That way you can say everything at once without repeating yourself."

"Th-that's th-th-the thing, Paul. Mom's n-not coming home. " Paul raised an eyebrow and sent me a look that said 'what do you mean?' but remained silent. "Sh-she d-died. At th-the hands of Ga-Gaea." I looked up at Paul and let the tears fall as his eyes started to water as well. "Mom's dead." Paul looked at me as his tears started to fall as well. He started shaking his head.

"No no no no no no no. Please tell me this is some sort of elaborate prank. Tell me you aren't serious," he pleaded. I just shook my head as the tears started to fall from my eyes as well.
