Sorry, it's been so long. College applications are a bitch to do. On the plus side I've finished all of them, so yay!! Anyway, here we go.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third POV

Zeus glared around the room and summoned his Master Bolt pointing it around the room. "You are all pathetic. I saved you! I'm the reason you're here! Without me you're nothing! Without me, half of you wouldn't exist! Without me, your children wouldn't exist! Ruling is my birthright! I was granted the right by the Fates. I have ruled for the past 5,000 years, and I will continue to rule! You cannot take this away from me!"

Everyone summoned their weapons in response to Zeus with the exception of Percy and Hestia. Percy held his hand up silently telling his allies to remain on guard but not attack.

"Zeus calm down. This isn't right and you know it. Please put the bolt down. You did save your siblings yes. Without that none of us would be here. But ruling is not your birthright. It never was. It's Aunt Hestia's right to rule. And if she doesn't want it then it's Aunt Demeter's. Not yours." Percy raised his hands trying to calm Zeus. "Think rationally, please."

Zeus growled and pointed his master bolt directly at Percy "I am King! That is final!"

Percy sighed "Zeus please don't make us forcefully dethrone you. We don't have to do it."

Zeus glared harshly at him, his eyes crackling with electricity, as the room begin to fill up with the smell of ozone. "You will try," he growled before firing his bolt at Percy.

The reaction was instantaneous. Within a moment Olympians were choosing sides. Olympus was at war, and this time it wasn't with another group of immortals. It was at war with itself.

(Yea obviously not ending the chapter here. I'm not that cruel)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Percy attempted to summon a shield but was unfortunately too slow and the bolt hit him in the chest knocking him out. Poseidon and Hades immediately retaliated against Zeus pushing him against this throne. Ares and Athena were at it, wisdom vs. brute strength, Ares defending his father, and Athena defending her children. Dionysus was defending himself from attacks against Apollo and Artemis, the former again protecting his father and throne, while the latter two were protecting their own children and Hunters respectively. Demeter was attempting to reason with Hera, who was only interested in protecting her throne and little else, seeing as she had no care for the demigods. Everyone else sat on their throne unsure of who's side to take. Some like Aphrodite were uninterested in the combat and just didn't care enough. Hestia quickly ran over to Percy and began healing him. Within a few minutes, Poseidon and Hades had their respective weapons pointed at Zeu's throat, Athena had disarmed Ares with her spear at his throat, and the twin Olympians had restrained Dionysus.

Percy groaned as he woke up, Hestia assisting him in sitting up. "What happened?"

"Zeus hit you with his master bolt," she replied. "How are you feeling?"

Percy held his chest wincing a bit. "Like absolute shit Aunt Hestia. Help me up," he said as he attempted to stand up and looked around sighing. "Now are you ready to give up Zeus? I mean you don't really have a choice. seeing as my dad and Uncle Hades have their weapons to your neck. Now swear on the Styx that you won't ever try to reclaim the throne."

Zeus grudgingly nodded and made the oath, glaring at Percy. Percy nodded at his father and uncle, as they took their weapons off of Zeus's throat.

"Hermes, go tell both camps. Let them know that there's no longer a king of Olympus." Hermes nodded and flashed out.

Percy smiled and looked around "it would seem that there's a lot left to do now."

Alright so, there's a lot of things I need to address.

1.) Updates: where do I fucking begin? Updates were based on how much time I had, and I started this book when quarantine started when I had a shit ton of time. Also at that time, I was a sophomore in high school. I'm now a senior, where the fuck has the time gone? But as the months went on, I found myself with less and less time, which brings me to point 2.

2.) Mental Health: I've been fucked in the head for a while now. Junior year was an absolute shitshow for me, I couldn't focus on my grades or anything else for that matter, and that's when the motivation to continue this book kinda dropped. Due to my inability to focus on my grades, they dropped, which kinda fucked me everywhere else.

3.) Future: It's a new year, so I'm gonna end this book here now. I'll probably rewrite it in the future. I have an idea for a new book, and I want a clean slate, so I'm going to delete my Devil story. Also I've hit a writer's block with that one, so yea.

Anyway hope you all had a great Christmas, and have a good New Year. Here's to 2022 being better that 2021!
