~2 days later~

It's been 2 days since Larray moved, and I have barely came out of my room. Today me and Avani are having a small girls day.

I wake up and shower. I change into 👇🏻

I straighten my hair and put a bandanna on it, then do light makeup. My phone rings and it's Avani, I pick up and sit on my bed.

Avani:we never planned on where we are goin.
You:oh haha. Wanna go Dunkin then get our nails done?
Avani:sure, want me to pick you up?
You:no thanks, I'll just walk there.
Avani:ok, see you soon bub.

She hangs up and I go downstairs to the kitchen. I see Ryland and hug him.

Ry:your out of your room!
You:yeah, today I'm having a girls day with Avani.
Ry:ok, have fun!
You:I will, but-
Ry:don't even say it, it'll be like he's sick or just couldn't make it.
You:ok. I have a question.
Ry:yeah?
You:what ever happened to Billy?
Ry:Billy was the goat right?
You:yeah.
Ry:umm, I think Thomas brought him to a farm.
You:Nooo!! Billy was supposed to be my pet best friend.
Ry:we can get you another goat.
You:no it's fine, but I have to go, bye babe!
Ry:bye baby.

I leave and walk to Dunkin Donuts. I go inside and Avani is sitting at a table. I order an ice coffee with 4 pumps of Carmel and a 25 donut box with 10 chocolate and 15 glazed, then sit by Avani.

Avani:hey B, how are you?
You:I'm doing ok, i still can't believe he's gone.
Avani:same, but I have good and bad news.
You:good news first.
Avani:I'm making my own makeup line!
You:omg congrats! Now what's the bad news?
Avani:I'm moving to Michigan.
You: ....why?
Avani:Anthony's parents live there and his dad is very sick, so Anthony is moving there and I want to go with him.
You:When are you leaving?
Avani:tomorrow morning, our flight is at 2am. So you probably won't be able to say bye.
You:nope I will be able to, I'm going to wake up at 12:30 and go to the airport with you both and say bye there.
Avani: ok that's good, how are you and Ryland?
You: I feel like I'm not being a good girlfriend.
Avani:why do you feel like that? Your amazing.
You:it's just, I always want alone space and to not be bothered. I've been wanting to sleep a lot lately and my anxiety is starting to get worse.
Avani:that sounds like some symptoms of depression. How have you been feeling recently?
You:like shit.
Avani:but you look kinda happy.
You: I fake it.
Avani:omg Sydney, I'm so sorry.
You:it's fine.
Avani:you should see a doctor.
You:ok I will in a few days.
Avani:good, but maybe your not ready for a relationship right now.
You: I honestly don't know, but I really like Ryland.
Avani:it's up to you bub, but what color do you want to get done on your nails?
You:a black marble look. What about you?
Avani:I want purple and blue plaid.
You:cool. Let's go.

We get into Avani's car and she drives to the nail salon. We go inside and get our nails done.

Once our nails are finished, Avani and I go back to her car. We drive around and take pictures together. After about an hour Avani drops me off back at Hype and I go upstairs to Ryland's room. I knock on the door and Ryland opens it.
You:can we talk?
Ry:yeah, Nick can you give us a few minutes?
Nick:yeah.
Nick leaves and I go inside. We both sit on his bed.

You:look, I really like you, but I don't think it's a good time for me to date anyone. It's nothing against you, the past few days I've had a lot of stress and anxiety, I've wanted to sleep a lot more, and honestly I just feel like shit.
Ry: so what are you saying?
You:what I'm say is....I think we should take a break.
Ry: I was going to give you this but never found the right time, so here.

He goes over to a drawer and pulls out a box. He stands in front of me and opens it. Inside are 2 bracelets that look alike, but one is black and the other is white.

You:oh my god, these are so cute.
Ry:have the white one, it can be like a promise bracelet. I promise that when we get back together I will love and protect you.
You: same promise.

Ryland gives me the white one and I put it on my wrist. Then I leave his bedroom and go to mine. I grab my phone and check the time, it's 3pm. I set an alarm for 12:30am then go to the bathroom and change into a hoodie and shorts, I take the bandana out of my hair and my makeup off. Then I go to my bed and lay down, almost instantly I fall asleep.
