🎩 Prologue 12 : Escaping the Punishment

[Name] and grim hurriedly ran towards the east side building heading to the hall of mirrors. As they slowly gets closer, [name] catches a glimpse of a familiar student in which he recognizes it was Ace. He was about to call Ace when grim beats him to it.

"Hey you! Stop there!" Grim shouts.

"Ace Trappola!" The student jolts in surprise when he saw [name] and grim ran inside the hall of mirror.

"Geh! They found me!" Ace exclaimed.

"You! Stop right there!"[name] demands."I'm not letting you get out of punishment!"grim added.

Ace smirked."I really don't have time to talk. See ya!" He said took off,running to the other direction of the hallway.

"Get back here!"[name] shouts running after him."It's not fair! I don't wanna do this either!"[name] deadpanned at grim. 'seriously!?'

And the chase begins.

"Excuse me!" [Name] shouts, rushing through the students way avoiding them like an obstacle course.

"Hurry up [name]! Don't be a slowpoke!" Grim shouts running on four.

[Name] rolls his eyes and keep running, no matter how he avoids a number of students in his way he keep getting a reaction after bumping on their shoulder.

"Pardon me! Out of the way!"[name] shouts at the two students in his way.

They looks like twins for they have black strands on the parts of the side of their hair and golden eyes. The two students looks surprised and make a way for him as [name] runs past them.

"Thank you! And sorry!" [Name] shouts at them waving his hand.

"Ace get back her---ah!" [Name] stop on his tracks when he came to face-to-face a student with feminine face and fair skin.

"..." Both stared at each other in silence when a student wearing a fancy hat and blonde bob cut hair gets in between.

"Oya? Do you know each other?"he interrupts. [Name] realizes and blinks a few times."I-I'm sorry, I gotta go."he said and took off following grim.

"Get outta the way! Get outta the way!"Ace shouted, telling to the blue haired student spade tattoo in his face.

"Eh? Uh?"

"Please stop him!"[name] cries as Ace is getting closer to past him. The student held a confuse look. "Stop him?I could freeze him..."he mumbles, thinking of a way. "Tie him up? Or..."

"Anything will do! Just stop him hurry!"Grim exclaims.

The student jolts in surprise when Ace have finally rushed past him."Anything!?....anything....I got it!"he mumbles, then pulls out his magic pen from his chest pocket and points it to Ace.

"Anything works so come out! With something heavy!" He shouts.

[Name] halts beside the student tired from running as he summoned a strange thing coming out from above Ace's head and fell on top of him. [Name] winces closing an eye as Ace groans in pain.

"Ahahaha! Just look at him! He got squashed with a giant cauldron!"Grim laughs."How lame!"

"Oh thank heavens and thank you"[name] said, making a small smile towards the other student. "Y-youre welcome, do you think that was too much?"he wondered, referring to the cauldron dropped on Ace.

"No, that's fine. Here Ace"[name] said pushing the cauldron off of Ace and offered to hand to him. "Ow! Can't you just clean the windows on your own?"Ace said, rubbing his back in pain.

"But it's an order from the headmaster"said [name].

"Clean the windows?"the other student turn to look at you."What did you guys do?"he asked.

[Name] huffed,placing his hands on his hips."Ace was playing around with grim this morning and then they burnt the statue of the Queen of hearts"[name] explains.

The other student looks at [name]'s friends in shock."You damaged one of the Great Seven's statue!? No wonder you got yourselves in trouble"the blue haired student sighs.

Ace glared at him."who are you anyway?"he asked.

"My name is Deuce, Deuce Spade. How about you try to remember your classmates faces"Deuce said,crossing his arms. Ace sighs at him."You didn't remember we either"he said.

[Name] clears his throat, interrupting them."Since it's an order from the headmaster,you know you're going to do it..."he said. Ace sighs again and dusted his uniform."Yeah,yeah, I know that."said Ace.

[Name] noticed grim is quiet under his knees when he looks down and saw grim 's blinking figure.

"Grim is gone!"[name] exclaims.

"Ah! The fur ball is gone!"

[Name] grits his teeth and turns his head looking for a glimpse of grin's figure and he saw the fur ball running outside the courtyard.

"Grim! Get back here!"

"Hehehe! I'll let you guys take it from here! Bye! Bye!"Grim shouts from the far distance.

"Ah! He took my place!"

An irkmark appears on [name]'s head as he clench's his fist in annoyance.'that little scoundrel!'

[Name] sighs, regaining his posture then turn towards Deuce."Hey um...Deuce?"the boy hummed."Can you help us catch grim?"[name] asked.

"Why should I?" Ace sneers and places his hand on your shoulder."Because this guy can't use magic and can't help me. Now let's go!" Ace grab Deuce hand and led him to chase grim with Deuce complaining beside him.

[Name] blankly stares at Ace with an irkmark on his cheek then he just simply followed them.

'I swear I'm about to knock his daylights out of him'

And the chase on Grim...Begins!
