Kayla's pov
Yn and Lucas have been talking a lot at school, but they never went on a date. I really want them to be together, but Lucas keep playing games like they don't like each other but I know they do,they way they look at each other is priceless. I really want them to start dating.
"Just ask her out already" I sobbed.
Yn gave me a death look,but I just ignored her and went on.
"I want yall to date, yall Would be so cute"
Yn just blushed so hard. I know she wants to date him.
Lucas finally spoke.
"ight, imma take you out Yn" he said and Yn smiled.
"Is that your way of asking?" She said.
"Will you go on a date with me Yn?" He asked and she laughed and nodded.
"Thank God" I said.
Lucas just laughed and looked at Yn again and their eyes were locked.
Yn's pov
The bell struck and I got up slowly saying bye to Kayla. Lucas was in my next class, and I was so happy.
After school Lucas caught up with me.
"Aye, Yn wait" he said stopping in between each word, trying to catch his breath. I turned around and stopped walking.
"Hm?"
"I'll pick you up at 7" He said.
I smiled and nodded,no words would come out. I simply waved and walked away. I had to find an outfit.
When I got home I told my grandma all about Lucas and I told her that he was taking me out tonight.
"I'm happy for you Yn"she did a weak smile.
"I loveee you grandmaa"
I used a baby like tone. She laughed.
"I love you too Yn, your mom would be so proud."
I could see the hurt and pain on nana's face when she was saying that. I felt it too, I just wished my mom was here with me,and because of her stupid a-
My train of thought cut loose when I realized the tears dropping from my eyes.
I decided to take a nap to relax.
When I woke up, I had realized that it was 6:00 and I had to start getting dressed. I slowly left my grandma's room making sure not to wake her up. She was such a soft sleeper.
I got in the shower and 20 minutes later I wrapped myself in my towel and began picking out an outfit. I called Kayla to ask her if I should dress sexy,or casual, and we decided on sexy. Once I found my outfit I began my hair and make up.
When I was done, Lucas texted me and said he was here. I sprayed perfume all over myself and I grabbed my purse and phone and kissed my grandma on the cheek And walked out of the door quietly not waking her up.
Lucas's pov
I pulled up to yn's house, and texted her. 10 minutes later she walked out of the door and she looked
"B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L." I spoke and smiled as she walked up to my car. She laughed and hugged me.
"Thanks"
I helped her into my car and started driving. I turned on the radio and Yn started dancing. This was her song.
"Let a nigga try me, try me, imma get his whole motherfuckin family,and I ain't playing wit no body,fuck around and imma catch a body"
she sang as she danced in her seat. I just smiled cause she looked hilarious and she just broke out of her shy shell.
