I woke up the next day,and August was downstairs on the phone. I was in a loose t-shirt ,with only my panties,and the shirt went passed my panties. I had in blue socks and my hair was in a bun.
I walked on the steps, and listened.
"Ard,we gon meet at the trap" August said. Moments later he said:
"Ight bring the grass"(drugs,specifically weed/Marijuana) August said excitedly. I just looked at him. He hung up and closed his eyes. I walked to the couch and sat on his lap facing him.
"Hey baby" he said kissing my cheek and closing his eyes again,and leaning his head back. After a while I spoke.
"Promise me you won't die" I said looking at him playing with his shirt and rubbing his chest. He opened my eyes,and raised his head and looked at me.
"What?" He said innocently.
"Don't act like you don't know,I heard you" I said. He sighed,and stared at me.
"Why August? Why you gotta do this?" I asked looking at him.
"Baby I gotta get back at people number one,and it's a way I make more money" he said.
"you have a job August!"I yelled. "I don't understand." I said
"It's not for you to understand,baby trust me" he grabbed my hands.
"How August? You about to sell weed,or shoot somebody or whatever you do,and I'm supposed to trust you?" I said irritated.
"Baby,please don't get mad,I'm gon be okay" he said.
"Whatever" I said. He kissed me,and I kissed back. I loved August,and I was worried,who wouldn't be? He got up and kissed my forehead. I looked at him as he left. I took a nap to get things off my mind. When I woke up,Aug was right next to me,I loved him for that. Worried for nothing.😌That night I came up wit an idea.
"Baby remember that song you made for me?" I asked.
"Yeah"he replied.
"I didn't even know you could sing like that" I said smiling.
"I could do a lil sum " he said laughing.
"You should make a YouTube video" I said looking at him. He looked at me.
"What?" He said.
"It's fun,and you would go viral babe." I said.
"You gon do it wit me" he said.
"I can't even sing" I said.
"Let me hear" he said.
"What imma sing" I said.
"Sing the one I wrote for you" he said waiting.
"Okay" I cleared my throat and began.
"I don't want nobody but youuuu,kissing on my Tattoos and I don't want nobody but meee talking me to youu until you fall asleep.." I stopped in doubt. August stared at me.
"Aug"I waved my hand.
"Oh my god" he looked at me and fell off the bed. I laughed.
"You so extra" I said still laughing.
"Damn Yn that was good,like real fucking good" he exaggerated. I nodded.
"It was Ight" I said.
"No you doing this damn song with me get the computer" he said as I laughed.
A little later we started doing the video.
"I don't want nobody but youuuu" Aug sang.
"kissing in my tattoooooos" I sang.
"And I don't want nobody but mee" he sang.
"Talking to youu" I sang.
"Until you fall asleep" he sang,and we took turns. We finished and posted it.
"I think it was good" i said.
"Mhm,you were good" he said.
"You tooooo" I said kissing him. I love that song,so much.
""I wrote it when you were with Lucas,I just acted like i wrote it the other day. " he said and I looked at him.
"Why?" I asked.
"Cause,I didn't want you to think I was jealous or anything,cause I ended up with you at the end" he said.
"It's not the end tho" I stated. He looked at me and I laughed.
"I'm just playing"I kissed him and purposely fell asleep.
A few weeks later August called me almost busting my ear drum,screaming.
"Augustttttttttt" I said over his yelling. He finally stopped like 2 minutes after and listened.
"First of all,I'm 30% deaf now,and what happened??" I asked.
"Baby,I'm about to come over" he said and hung up. You called me screaming just to tell me your coming over,you could've just texted that. August is so difficult. About 10 minutes later he got here and I opened he door and he kissed me so hard.
"Damn,missed me?" I said closing the door behind him.
"I love you,I love you,I love you" he said kissing me over and over again all over my face.
"I love you too,but what I do?" I asked.
"The people in the music industry called,and they saw my video,and they wanna sign me" he yelled. I screamed so loud,like the loudest I've ever screamed and hugged his neck so tight.
"Babyyyy I'm so happy for you" I kissed him. "This is so good" I smiled. He grinned,then it faded.
"It wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you,you had the idea" he said hugging me.
"Nah your voice did it" I said.
"Wait.." He said.
"What?"
"They didn't wanna sign you" he said.
"So?" I said not caring.
"Nooo you were in the video singing" he said.
"Baby I don't even wanna be a singer. it just turns out that I know how to sing.
Trust me when I say this" I said grabbing his face.
"I don't wanna be in the music business at all,or a singer,TRUST me!" I laughed. He smiled.
"Ard,but let's celebrate" he said with his grin growing back.
"But I have a question now" I said.
"Shoot"
"So you gonna stop dealing?" I asked playing with his chain. He looked at me and smiled.
"Hell yeah" he said.
I smiled and kissed him. So later we all went out and told everybody the news. I was so proud of my baby,he had actually accomplished something useful. Later we went home and laid down.
"If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here. I love you to death Yn, like more than you think." August said,and with that he fell asleep. I loved August. I really really loved August.
