Jessica was surprised her father didn't say anything about last night. She had a feeling he knew, but wasn't saying anything, for some reason.

"I'll see you two downstairs for breakfast." He said with a hint of attitude, leaving Jess and Roland in the room.

"Where were you last night? Brayden was looking for you.. I was too." Roland asked as the door closed, causing her to mentally curse at herself.

"I went out with some of the guys." She shrugged and grabbed her jacket, knowing they wouldn't be returning to the room.

"What do you mean?" He asked and followed her to the door. "Dad let you guys out, even after curfew?"

"We went to a bar. And no dad doesn't know." Jessica stopped and looked straight at her brother, "You can't tell anybody okay Ro. Promise?"

Roland raised his eyes, "I can't promise anything." He sang and skipped to the elevators.

"Roland!" Jess ran after him to see a bunch of hockey players standing behind where he was.

"Oh hey Jessica." Morin said as he was the first to spot her.

"Hi guys." She said sending a glare to her brother.

The elevator dinged and the crowd of hockey players walked in. They all began to talk about their upcoming game against Finland.

They were the tournament champions last year, with Canada coming in fourth. It was a huge game, considering Canada was riding on a 2-0 record. And the Fins weren't doing so hot.

"We can beat the shit out of them guys." Max said before the elevator doors opened at the lobby.

"Fuck yeah, fuck 'em!" Anthony added as the group exited the elevator.

They walked into the breakfast room creating a huge ruckus in the once quiet space.

Jessica just so happened to catch the eye of Josh as she walked in, he waved at her with a smile. Sending Jessica a pang of butterflies.

"You and Josh, hey?" Brayden spoke from behind her, causing her to jump.

"Its nothing Bray."

He laughed, grabbing a plate from in front of Jess, passing her one as well.

"Keep telling yourself so, Jess."

Jessica scoffed, moving ahead to grab something from the table.

She couldn't lie the possibility of Josh and her being something gave her butterflies. Even more than she had now, but Jess knew the possibility of it happening wasn't too great; he was too good for her.

Jessica sighed looking around the room for somewhere to sit.

She didn't want to sit with Brayden, and from their last conversation, knowing him, he would just pester her about Josh.

"Jess!"

Jessica turned around and saw Josh who was waving her over. She smiled at the boy, agreeing to join him and a few of his teammates who she hadn't gotten to know yet. She was beyond nervous to say the least.

"Hey there." She chimed as she sat next to him at the table.

"Hey Jessica." He replied with a mouthful of eggs.

"Yo Jess." Dillon Heatherington said with a wave.

"So, I heard you went out last night?" Nic Petan said with a smirk, breaking the ice with his comment.

Jess shrugged, looking at the boy.

"Yeah, with some of the other guys."

"Josh told us you were talking to Eichel." He added with, his smirk growing immensely.

A light went off in Jessica's head, thats who he was. Jack Eichel, Top American NHL draft prospect.

"Oh my god, I didn't even recognize who he was." She exclaimed, mentally cursing at herself for not seeing the resemblance earlier.

"He also said you two looked like you were quite into each other." Jessica turned to Josh who was quietly eating beside her, refusing to make eye contact with anybody else at the table. Which was something she found unusual.

"I guess." She blushed as she playfully nudged Josh, seeing him smile for a small second.

"You're lucky as hell Jack Eichel is interested in you. I mean if I were you, I would be freaking out right now."  Petan exclaimed in excitement, causing the guys at the table to laugh at their teammate, some beginning to tease the boy about his little man crush on Jack Eichel.
