Jessica quickly exited the plane that brought them to Toronto. A city she'd always wanted to visit in Canada. She had always been stuck in the province of Québec and it was nice to finally travel somewhere new. Even if it was only for a few days. She was excited to explore, and watch some good hockey.
She took a window seat on the bus, plugging her headphones into her ears. It was about 11PM and for some reason Jessica was exhausted. Even after doing absolutely nothing throughout the day. She assumed it was the effects of the busy schedule during the tournament.
"This seat taken?" Jessica looked over to see Zachary Fucale with a grin plastered on his face.
"Yeah it is. Sorry, Zach." Brayden said, suddenly appearing as he slipped into he seat.
Jessica rolled her eyes and looked at Zach with a sorry expression. He smiled back at her, just shrugging the moment off, looking for another seat.
"That was quite rude Brayden." She said watching Zach wander to the back of the bus.
"Sorry." He said half-heartedly, causing Jessica to roll her eyes yet again.
The bus began to move and her gaze moved from Brayden to the window, she was eager to see the city, she loved seeing pictures online especially of the beautiful lights on the CN Tower.
She looked up to the sky, seeing only the faint light of a few stars and a beaming moon. Almost as bright as Josh's smile was. Jessica stifled a laugh in reaction to the thought, shaking her head.
"What are you laughing at?" Brayden asked, leaning towards her seat.
"Nothing." She softly sighed, looking at her feet, she needed to stop thinking about him.
Jessica returned to the window, seeing the bus begin to enter the city. The iconic city was peaceful that night. Only few cars could be seen on the streets, which was unusual for the usually busy city.
"Hey Maxy, why don't you give us a tour of the city later?" Jake Virtanen said from somewhere in the bus.
Jessica's ears perked up, listening to what Max had to say. She would love to explore the city with somebody who at least knew was was up around the area.
"If you want buddy." Max replied with a laugh, "There's honestly not much around here that's really interesting to me. Or that I know of."
She rolled her eyes at his statement, typical Max.

Jessica groaned into her pillow as she listened to the noises from the room beside her's. The boys never quit after their busy schedules, even at midnight. They always seemed to be full of life. Well, after 10AM that is.
All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door. Jessica rolled her eyes, if it was one of them planning to hang out. She would probably scream, sure they were fun to have around but she wasn't in teh mood.
She quickly ran to the door, opening it to have a body collide into her's. She felt herself begin to fall when the person caught her and steadied her on her feet.
"Sorry!" She heard as the door shut again.
"What is this?!" Jessica asked as she looked up to see Josh.
Her eyes widened and she backed away from the boy, feeling her face redden.
"Sorry." She mumbled, trying to avoid his gaze.
He simply chuckled as he let go of her, "No need to apologize, it's their fault. They pushed me into you." Josh snarled, raising his voice in hopes that they could hear him.
"How come?" Jessica asked watching him as he looked out the peephole in the door before trying to open it. But it wouldn't budge, for some reason.
"I have no idea."
The room was silent, with Roland in his father's room talking with their mother, and Jessica refusing to speak, afraid she would say something to trigger a negative response from Josh. It was only him that could be heard, mumbling about how much he wanted to kill the other guys.
"Are you mad at me?" Jessica spoke lightly, surprising Josh and herself at how forward she was.
"Pardon?" He looked over at Jessica who was sitting on the bed, looking to the ground.
"Are you mad at me?"
There was a brief silence, making Jessica so nervous she could hear her own heartbeat, until he spoke up.
"No." The answer shocked Jessica, suddenly making her confused as to why he was acting the way he was.
"Well, I was. I think, but not mad. More upset.." Josh explained, "But no, I'm not upset anymore."
"Then why were you?" She asked now curious about his reason.
He looked at her, making her heart beat rapidly as he made eye contact, before letting out a sigh.
"I-"
"No!"
They heard as the door swung open, revealing Roland with a panicked Brayden, Nic and Madison behind him.
"We told you not to go in there, Roland!" Nic whined, hurrying to close the door on them again. But Josh was quick to stop him.
He quickly made his escape from the room leaving Jessica stunned, heart about to bust from her chest.
Brayden grunted, looking to Josh then to Jessica, then to Roland.
"What happened?" A clueless Roland asked, watching Josh run down the hall.
"Nothing, see you guys tomorrow."Jessica responded, pulling Roland into their shared room before slamming the door on the other guys before anybody could say anything.
