Hynek Vilhelm

His first name, pronounce hi-nehk, is derived from the Old High German name "Haimirich". It means "ruler of the home, sovereign of the homeland" and other variations along that line. His family name, pronounced vil-um, is the Scandinavian and Finnish form of William, which comes from the name Willahelm meaning "will helmet" that is composed of the "will, desire" and "helmet, protection".

The Reclusive Lord of the Manor

Inspired by one of the many translations for his first name, a lot of the servants in his home refer to him as such when away from their master's eyes. Hynek is well aware of the murmured nickname though but does not address it; he finds it rather fitting.

Reed

Another nickname inspired from his name's history, though there are very few that refer to him as such. It is reserved for those close to him and those he's willing to view as his equal because of their companionship. Thanks to how little he interacts with other high fae, the nickname has only been used by certain servants of the manor.

My Little Scholar

His mother found the pet name appropriate for her expectations of him and would refer to him as such whenever he revealed his intelligence. Hynek doesn't let anyone use the term to describe him anymore though — he'd sooner be called a wizard.

Duke

This noble title was passed down to him by his parents, who first earned it for their family through their inventive and military accomplishments. It didn't hurt their chances to possess rather strong powers too. Hynek, however, only uses this title in official documentation and political settings.

Lord / Lady

Most of his citizens in the land as well as people of his equal like fellow high fae use this title to address him under his insistence. It feels more natural and commonplace without completely discrediting his lineage.

Young Master / Mistress

What the servants in his manor refer to him as, especially when directly speaking to him. He's certainly not young age-wise but his youthful appearance and ever-consistent personality justifies the adjective. The manor itself hasn't changed much with the times regardless of renovations and job adjustments either, like it was stuck in time.
